Agreed GREATLY on starting walls, but im confused about the macedonian reforms. Do you have to research one to research the second one? Or are can you only research one of them? (In which case, rename is in order. ) -
I'm.. Squealing with joy.

.... EVERY structures pierce armor has been reduced, so that spearmen (who now do pierce damage) can cut @#$% up, and ranged units arent absolutely useless versus structures.

AI not attacking, generally too easy to defeat

If you are playing alpha 16, petra isn't very impressive. In SVN (or alpha 17) Petra is SIGNIFICANTLY better -
...at least 90% of your troops will and CAN go. Before it was more of a problem of having enough space because formations could and did spend 20 minutes at a time just trying to get around an isolated house. now you can send most of your units forth and look for stragglers to micro to the objective manually.

Whilst i agree with this argument, it's also kind of a pain. "is my building dead, or is it alive?!"
-
Also what version of the game are you using? SVN OR alpha 16?

He's got cheats on methinks, which probably has an autobuild. Army camp is less of a build in 5 seconds structure and more of an arrowless fortress or a barracks you can build EVERYWHERE. Which is honestly USELESS. As by the time you can use it every scratch of territory is yours - or the enemies. BUUUT let us not digress - derailing threads is bad. Moar vidjus!

You also don't see if a foundation is DEAD in fog. one of yours, that is.

Does gentoo use pulseaudio? O.o

You seem to have gotten all the facts wrong. *sigh* 20%, not 25%. 60 meters, not 80 meters. You didn't mention Units on walls.

That combined with the fact that most of 0ad's civilisations fit all (or almost all) requirements for "empire". Maybe excepting Spartans. Nubians didn't really have an empire, or an excuse for them to be added to the game ;P Or Iberians. Shaddap Niektb. D: Actually, yes. Diversity of subject peoples: Check, (celtiberans, iberians, and north africans were at one point under.. that roman dude who came right after marius and sulla, were united under one banner) (before they were all butchered, and fully assimilated into the roman empire, BUT IT COUNTS, RAWR) everything else is subjective.

The alt+enter bug is relative to using the mod menu. If the game starts with it save the changes, then restart. You should be able to alt enter to swap between fullscreen and windowed.

On a happy note. ERMAGHERD MUSIC UPDATE.

Hmm, I quite agree. But my idea is a close second, to be honest.

(just thought i'd re-say this) Quinquennis - Of five years / Five years old Is also a Safe bet. Five years of 0ad. We just had a (poorly attended) Mapping contest to Celebrate it Five year anniversaries only really happen once. Expanding the modability of the engine can happen every day of the week.

What do you mean by attached buildings? You mean like building ontop of a specific item? EG Building a refinery ontop of an oil patch or a civ centre ontop of a settlement? O.o If that, then yes, i agree!

And some changes as a result from those things testingas Decreases attack early game to account for blacksmith techs. Transitions house techs. That last one unpairs all the house techs, and makes them loads more expensive. methinks this is good.
