  1. Spear cav doesn't micro very well, because it takes several seconds to attack. (which i find is weird) Thus half of your troops die before the second attack is off.
  2. Pikemen seem extremely underpowered. No really, EXTREMELY under powered, i understand what their purpose is now (to be a wall of neverdying tanks) But they can't even do that very well. Not only can they not hold their own, they can't hold their own with tremendous numerical advantage versus something like.. Hoplites for example. And anyway, if you don't want to engage pikemen, because they're so darn slow, you can just go around them. Also, if you're going to have javelin infantry be extremely fast, They're going to be extremely efficient Resource gatherers. factions that don't have them (carthage, anyone?) will be extremely underfed. Maybe making women faster (if you want to keep the speed) Would help fix that? They generally should be / are what keeps your economy going anyway, having them do it better won't hurt nobody. Infact it might help me judge the balance of the infantry better.
  3. What do you mean by "farmlands", Not farms, surely? We already have those.
  4. It isn't like that, all units default to "Line" when trained in groups or moved in groups. and as formations are still..... well.... Not working as correctly as one could hope....
  5. I didn't say remove, i said bandaid it till it works again. HAve it stay in, but the default formation for EVERYONE should be.. "no formation" So when you train units, (say in 5 10's or 40's) they don't spawn, and start circle derping around said structure.

Romans seem to have not been properly balanced? 13.5 infantry Skirmisher walk speed? 20 damage? 9.5 Infantry sword walk speed? compared to carthage (my go-to civ) who's infantry range are only 8.5 walk speed, 7 damage and infantry spear is 8 walk speed. So archers are abominably weak and slow across the board. okay. But they have long range guys! *sigh* I dislike this greatly. and swordsmen are just down-right better than spear-men across the board. Where is the sense in this?
  7. It makes sense to me, I haven't bought aoe2hd or aomhd. I refuse to pay so much for what is literally just a poor upgrade in textures. if the forgotten came WITH Aoe2hd.. maybe.. However, i recently shelled out for Homeworld remastered, that is a HD Remake done right, it's not "give us alot of money for a resolution upgrade", they did much more than that, thus is much less dishonourable. I mean, seriously, 8/9 GB vs less than 1 gig? Not all of that is textures.

Linux) So I distrust the results i found with them. Plus the fight took place on two sides of a barracks. (i won by spawning 20 swordsmen upon his slingers, but lost all my other troops with hardly any enemy corpses. T.T) Thus the video would just prove what we already know. (Formation Pathfinding..   10. can we at least have the null formation as default? T.T Or at least a toggle in options, having to set everything to null is annoying. Makes multi training military units a pain (instant form up, get stuck, do the formation dance on a tree!)

  17. They didn't do square cities. Ever. rome was a huge sprawl, and i highly doubt any of the cities the seleucids built were square either.

  21. Not really, you could just do as starcraft 2 does it. Have it be a dropdown box chat. Private messages could be implemented this way as well.   23. Maybe if it seemed, flatter, and more in tune with the ground it's placed on, like the generic field. o.O
