  1. Well, if the art team is busy, it's a good thing: somebody it's working! Don't remember so productivity in much time
  2. With this sentences is not clear if they had been used as military units or for logistics. Camel archer would overlap with Seleucid Dahae horse archers and Persians chariots, BTW, with the current design.
  3. I think that is out of time, that kind of units were used by imperial romans, right? What civs of the current game used them? Ptolomies already have them, what about persians, seleucids and mauryans? What type of units would be, spear, javelin, sword or archer camelry?
  4. If devs think that this shouldn't be here, feel free to say it to me and I will erase (although a Forgotten Empires dev helped some days ago to solve a bug). Also I don't remember if I posted this before, with a quick search I didn't found nothing. -Rome Returns As the title says it's a mod for AoE 2, and it's pretty well done. It have some bugs, probably because the engine limits and a small team (mostly one person maintaining it), but overall it's nice. Aoe2 features: scenario editor with triggers, formations, farm queue, better pathfinding with some new ones and adds also some new ones: three new units (slinger and camel upgrades, and land caravan), two new civs (Mauryans and Schytians).
  5. I mean, how it will work programming wise? Every unit should check if a enemy is in range? How it will afect performance? It could be tied to the individual AI, that chasing a unit triggers the stance?
  6. BTW, ready stance is implemented?
  7. And better in .zip or .rar, with both files in the folder?
  8. Just a few lines like these are enough, no need of big announcements if he doesn't wanted to!
  9. Did @fatherbushido retired (as the title says?) If so, I think that's important to say thanks for all the good job done (even if I didn't agree in the gameplay decisions. I think It's so important to greet new members, but also say goodbye and thanks, cause one day you realize than somebody important of the team that contributed with effort goes away without notice. But maybe it's only on vacations or resting? BTW, I miss these post. I follow track and codewildfiregames to try to understand in what are working the devs (at this point I'm more interesting in the game developing that playing the game itself, lol), but sometimes the intentions aren't clear (didn't saw nowhere that campaign implementation or secondary attacks were being reworked another time). Kudos for the work done, and if it's done all the stuff of this list, it would be a great release. As I said, I miss this kind of posts: I understand that are time-consuming, but I was thinking to say that if you wanted to promote to the IndieDb Awards, a post like this was needed. But you did it already You missed the Alexander new cavalry models, as always, images are exciting also for the public, think about it if you post it in IndieDb
  10. Correct me if I'm wrong: the game have some kind of grid, the thing is that you can't attach to place things on it.
  11. Changing options in the menu shouldn't allow to modify the gameplay and give a advantage: training the units by 2 are more efficient, specially in the beginning, right? (by the pro videos that I've seen). Also it's an option that easily gets oversighted, so I suggest that the numbers of units should be fixed, like before. Of course it's nice to have this feature for the engine, but not for the game.
  12. The team as agreed on mount/dismount feature?
  13. He is asking if it.s a bug that units of the AI attack without formation. El codigo de las formaciones, y en cierta medida el comportamiento individual de las unidades, se tiene que rehacer. Por eso probablemente los desarolladores no han hecho que la IA ataque en formaciones. Asi que no es ningun bug.
  14. For streaming or making videos of an open-source game? IMHO opinion I don't think so
  15. @Lion.Kanzen Maybe you could advise this in the 0 a.d en español @Sundiata I think that list only shows the popularity but not the games ranking award (that of course should have relation, but is not the same)
  16. Macedonian or seleucid? Seleucid right? It would be cool to differentiate at first glance all units of different civilizations, even the ones that share cultures. They look very distinctive to the other Hellenic pikemen.
  17. Well, I don't know if it's only a simple change of name, or also a extension of functionalities that could extend the game modding capabilities up to the cube (and also needed for the roman pilum attack)
  18. Sorry, I was pointing two different things: I don't know nothing about programming, but I can imagine that D931 it's somehow easy to implement, and it's nice to see that probably will land for Alpha 23 The second phrase (the status and consensus) was referring to @wraitii's D281 (sorry for the double ping, just to get sure to get an answer, because it's one of my most "desired gameplay features")
  19. En este caso, en principio no seria culpa tuya. Recuerda que el foro es en inglés.
  20. IMHO, multiplayer mod filter in the lobby is a must if Hyrule becomes a popular mod This ticket could very extend the gameplay design capabilities, what is the status and dev consensus about implementing it? @elexis, @wraitii
  21. For me it's not too bright... I think that the original was even more brighter, and then Aoe2 was tuned down. Sad to see that they didn't updated the diagonal walls... (they show like a wall of end-walls., like in the old game). Didn't watch the full video, the game have been improved? (the lag could be from the pc performance, or network issues)
