  2. I know what Ima do for DE. Base game can flail. Basically, I am going to try to come up with at least 2 units for each of these buildings, except Elephant Stable, for each civ. If I can't come up with at least 2 units for each, then I'll just throw the extra 1 into the barracks or make it the Civic Center unit, depending on context. To emphasize that each civ has its own military focus I will do something like this: Since the Persians have an archer and cavalry focus, I will include the promotion techs for each ranged unit at the Archery Range and for each Cavalry unit in the Cavalry Stable. The Barracks will include no promotion techs, few techs at all really. Romans, they get a bunch of Barracks techs, but no Archery Range and Cavalry Stable techs. You can go on down the list and see how easy it would be to allow, say, the Athenians to have a generic Greek Archer, aka Toxotes, and give them access to that type of unit, but clearly the upgrades and promotion lines will be heavily given to the melee infantry units at the Barracks, mainly to Hoplites. Actually, I'm going to make the Gymnaseion the Athenian Barracks, but that's beside the point.

For some mod support related code (amphibious units, as in swimming, not hovercrafts), and for adding support for swimming animations I'd like to test this with something that can actually be used in 0 A.D.. Since we do have crocodiles and the blend file for that in the art_source repo, I'd like to have someone create some swimming animations. Would make testing a lot more fun. If someone wants to create animations for some other animals that like to swim (elephants, polar bears, etc) feel free to do so.

Indeed Iberian cavalry seem to have been left unmodified, this was accidental I do not think it should be done like this though, I'm postponing the next version till I have added stables for each civ, this will fix the AI problem and make it more authentic Speaking about the next version, it'll feature hero abilities and a unique technology for each civilization. It will also correct some hindsights and things that were overlooked.

  14. How do you handle capture and or the full destruction of the wall ? Maybe a solution would be to make the request of the undying nephalim come true as being able to build buildings on the edge would be cool. Also could be used for fortresses.

  15. It looks too rich to me, especially with those big colored flowers. And the contrast between the apparent richness of the structure and the wonky barriers and pillars has something disturbing.

  25. Could you upload a RoN screenshot? Unfortunately not, I wish I did (or even better: a 5:4 screen); the only option for my notebook was 3840×2160, therefore I'm stuck with an inefficient 16:9 widescreen. However, I tend to use half-width windows (press Windows+Left and Windows+Right), which allow me to use two programs next to each other. This is also why I resized the central panel from 1024px to 960px (because 960*2=1920 and 960*4=3840). Actually I do, I'm currently working on version .52; besides, git keeps all history and easily allows you to load earlier versions. On github, open the repository (https://github.com/0abc/0abc-unified.git), click “commits”, then scroll down to the version you want (e.g. Commits on Oct 11, 2017), click the blue alphanumerical code at the end of the row, then click “browse files”, and finally “clone or download”: “download zip”.

  26. Thanks for advertising this particular issue (which is #3789 btw), but we have lots of other tickets on Trac and I don't see how duplicating random one of them on the forums (without adding any information) helps.
