Even more models! This time tried my hand at the indo-greek thureophoros and the bactrian light lancer, for the latter I tried to maintain their persian/afgan appearance. #replacing their baggy pants mesh with a more sleek and longer tunic enabled me to add greaves to their models, which does wonders for the whole east/west mixed appearance.2 points

Would it be possible to have access to old versions of 0AD, some computers struggle with recent versions.1 point

Why Carolingians and not Franks (or Frankish)? Anyway another (possible) hero for them (*for Carolingians): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odo_the_Great1 point

yes its (nearly) the same game. ... but i played 025, i love it but stats sayed i played terrible. much more terrible then in a 24 doesn't matter. takes time for me. need to train. better now then later1 point

A25 is fast-paced like A23, so you need tools like autotrain and hotkey your important buildings.1 point

Treasure bug is trigger for error you see. It is even worse because controller went into individual state so formation will not respond at all. https://code.wildfiregames.com/rP249891 point

I had the notion to have soldiers build ships on the shoreline, like how in DE soldiers build catapults (instead of "training" them from an Arsenal).1 point

Got this with both DE and EA. Create a formation of troops (hoplites in this instance). The default close order formation works. Now task these dudes to gather a treasure. They won't move (glitched out; perhaps a known problem?). Then task them to capture a building. Voila. That error is generated and they still do not move. Can anyone else reproduce? I can reproduce it very easily and consistently.1 point

metadata.jsoncommands.txt Here are the replays. Another small problem: 0ad seems to interfere with KDE window effects. When 0ad is running, all window effects like wobbly windows, magic lamp and any animations would disappear.1 point

ok, you are on a right maybe. first i though you totally misunderstood. nut noo, you nearly understand i think. but i played so long. i build 30 towers, 30 seventy towers, destroyed everything. build all over the little map and set all to violent, upgrated everything. see the replay. really strange. i know its very often difficult to find the last ai pixel. but this time in the local game it was really unbelievable. BTW its not a serious problem. its not rated and what the hell. doesn't matter so much UPDATE this screenshot of the stats show it already in minute 45 there is 0 population of the AI:1 point

Heh, one thing at a time. (There's also mongoose, tinygettext, and several other things that can be found in source/third_party/) Very easy in the case of valgrind: D3646. Haven't looked into cxxtest at present. We already have our own fork of fcollada: https://code.wildfiregames.com/source/fcollada/, although it's not pulled in like other external dependencies (and in fact there are some differences between that and the code that is currently bundled within library/source/). (There's also #5907 to take into consideration.) Personally, I'd like to see FCollada replaced with something that's actually maintained (by another project I mean, not by us). (Ditto with nvtt.) But it's beyond my ken to suggest possible alternatives. And to refactor code to use said alternative. [...] because I patched in the value of CHOST I require to cross compile. I was a little confused as I haven't had to do that in my own exploratory work. Still not too sure what ${CHOST} is supposed to contain. Then again, I'm largely unfamiliar with autotools, so if it's something specific to that then that might be why.1 point

Sure https://releases.wildfiregames.com/ Note that anything prior to A23B doesn't have a lobby.1 point

Yea, in a23 their cost/power relationship was not very distinct from CS, but still balanced so they were usable. I feel mercs should either be rank three and cost roughly the same as skiri or be rank 2 and have same cost from a23. I also would support some way to train mercenaries in p1, since this would allow some rush options that are not also economic, and add nuance to the usage of the starting metal (do you want mercs, or eco upgrades?).1 point

Hi, I won a game against baby-cheeses (1129) but I did not receive the ranking points, it seems to me that the game was close it in a different way and that is why I could not receive the points. @Kingfuzz baby-cheeses (1129 @user1 Thank you! commands.txt1 point

Dear @user1, the user with lobby name TitosyBelos left a rated game after losing a major fight. My lobby name: sabatarios I have attached the replay file. Thank you! commands.txt1 point

@user1 I played a 1v1 rated game against VIABADIE a few days ago, and as soon as I got his (only) civ center, he ended the game (he was host). It was very clear I was going to win, and he quit the game immediately when I destroyed his civ center, so it's obvious that's why he quit. MY ign is eTrey, and I would appreciate having a rating. Thanks. metadata.jsoncommands.txt(I know I don't need to upload both files, but it might help. I dunno.)1 point

Hi @user1, I played a 1v1 rated game and won. However, it did not change my rating. I did not see the message in Lobby saying "A rated game has ended....". Attached are the commands and metadata json files. The match is Kakutstha (me) v/s vijaivithal. Map is Alpine Valleys. commands.txt metadata.json1 point

I think we would all appreciate if everybody could calm down and keep on topic (borg's mod, in fact). Further off-topic discussion may be hidden or deleted and insults could lead to temporary bans.1 point
