Hello Mativen(?), I appreciate your cooperation and I've taken the time to thoroughly review your case. So here's what I have: Your first account appears to be mativen1983 but I remember you as DavyJones. I recall receiving multiple reports about DavyJones leaving rated matches without resigning.. I was viewing the logs and now I realize that you've also been affected by those players that leave rated matches without resigning This is regretful and for me, addressing the issue of rated match 'leavers' is a top priority for the release after next (alpha 24 or possibly before.) Now you found yourself on my radar once again since you were reported for leaving a rated match with B_Smoke... We're happy to have you as a new player here and I know the rated match issue is very frustrating but I guess it goes without saying that everyone must abide by the rules even if others are not... If you do that, your reputation won't be tarnished and those other guys will get what's coming to them...4 points

My ideas concern more with the role of women in-game. Women should be able to level up their ability to gather resources efficiently, which also changes their clothing, like how soldiers and healers level up their stats and acquire new clothing. This makes women at least more valuable game-wise, instead of disposable worker unit types. Women would still be vulnerable to attack, therefore not overpowered. Women should be able to set up devotional offerings in front of temples, at the cost of resources on a percentage on-going basis, which can grant passive non-permanent buffs to stats for units in home territory. The buffs would be gone as soon as the offerings are cancelled or there are no resources available, and the scope of the buffs is in home territory, therefore it is not overpowered. There are already similar in-game mechanics to this, with the Druids (warriors have buffs when near druids) and Roman Citizenship (Roman faction have non-permanent stats in home territory). All of the mechanisms are also historically accurate, women did have vital roles in managing local economies and temple worship in nearly all civilisations.2 points

@Alexandermb The swordsman coif does not seem to extend on the nape area of the neck when using the relax shield stance which is the default variant set in the actor file2 points

Indeed they are spiders, they are one of the most prolific enemies from the Zelda series: https://zelda.gamepedia.com/Gohma#Ocarina_of_Time In the context of Hyrule Conquest they are probably the oldest beings native to Hyrule, warped and manipulated by demons to be used as a weapon but they lost control of them. They are the anti-Kokiri in a way, canonically and in this mod they are responsible for the Great Deku Tree's death. Here's more detailed information: http://hyruleconquest.wikia.com/wiki/Gohma1 point

That's great! It is a rare faction for most games, so should be interesting!1 point

While both players are good they have almost the same attitude with JC slightly higher BS superiority complex. My comment is that if you accept to play the game you should accept the rules and stop making excuses. I’m not referring to Wendy alone but JC too and other players who makes so many excuses this and that. Some are even so rude and rage quit the game. There are players who wants to play the game but have limited time. That’s OK as long as it’s acceptable to both opposing parties and must accept the rules. The MP game is competition and any player or team will try to do whatever it takes to win. If you don’t have enough playing time it’s either you don’t play or you resign if you can’t beat the opponent without too much BS. But don’t play if it’s a team game. IMO you should have a minimum of 1 hour allowance when playing (esp on team games). We have a small group of fun playing players and we just enjoy the game! Too serious is just a very annoying thing on MP games and I/we really don’t like to play with these people except if we need players.1 point

I'll just leave a comment here to thank you for uploading games for me to watch. So many interesting replays sadly remain unuploaded, and I even tried offering rating points for anyone who posts a good replay. And the commentary was a fun read too. Wendy had quite a decent army of catapults, it would be a disaster for JC to take the big fight. I think building some more defenses to repel raids and then hitting his main base with most of the army could work. I could feel how the population cap was limiting. Nice game anyway. One g only please. But the gameplay was better than the spelling.1 point

The Kushites will be included in the main game in the upcoming release, very soon The first mod to introduce them as a playable faction was Delenda Est, and a second mod, Vox Populi also allows them to be played. You can also check out the latest version of the Kushites in the development version of the vanilla game.1 point

i will make it anyways if doesn't fit timeframe i'll try with another, in any case the more buildings we have of constantinople the more historical accurate @Skhorn could remake his constantinople map for a later campaing map. Btw the constantinople walls were 2 sets of walls it may be good to allow the civ build the lower wall cheap and weak in 1st phase and later build (Not upgrade) the inner wall.1 point

@Alexandermb I think the main issue with your byzantine CC is that it's only a very small part of that particular palace and seems to be some kind of forum, public meeting place, but doesn't have the feel of an administrative/government centre. It think with some polishing it would be great as a special building though. Byzantine Forum with some economy techs or something... Here are some more appropriate palatial structures from Constantinople as inspiration. These have a much more awe-inspiring feel, that the Byzantine CC should really have (also from the right time period): Some other stuff:1 point

@2blea: Maybe it is downloading the rc, which Itms already updated to 23. Can you download the tarballs and build game yourself? (650 MB) 0ad-data-22 (50 MB) 0ad-22 Untar and https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/BuildInstructions#Building By the way, there was a player (maybe blea) in svn lobby and his game caused an error in lobby.js, something about indexing an empty list, I couldn't see his host.1 point

I don't see anything specific to AI or pathfinding in the question. Anyway, no use to ping me anymore on such mods without code access (although people have asked several time a svn or git), unless i've missed it as i no longer read that thread. I've no motivation for that, and even if i had, i can't do anything without seeing the code.1 point

3000 year old horse grave discovered in Sudan, by archaeologists from Leiden So... my mom sent me a link... Turned out to be gold... lol! @Lion.Kanzen, . So a horse grave was very recently excavated in Tombos, in Northern Sudan. Tombos was originally a New Kingdom Egyptian administrative centre in Kush when it was an integrated province of Egypt. At least ten small pyramids were built for Egyptian noblemen. Later, Tombos became an important city/town of Napatan period Kush. So what's so special about the horse burial? Well, it's one of the most well preserved horses ever excavated in Nubia, and it dates to 949 BC... The oldest horse burial ever found in Kush, predating Piye's horse burials by more than 150 years! This period, c.950 BC was about 100 years after the collapse of the New Kingdom, but more than 100 years before the first attested ruler of the Napatan Dynasty, a period known as the "Nubian Dark Ages". Not much is known about this period. The horse was well cared for, and died at the ripe old age of 12 to 15 years. It was buried underneath the offering chapel of a repurposed pyramid of a New Kingdom nobleman. The bit that was found with it, together with the signs of stress in the ribs and spine suggest it was a chariot puling horse. The bit was made from iron... IRON! This 10th century BC iron bit is the oldest piece of iron ever found in Kush and one of the oldest in (Sub-Saharan) Africa, and may begin to reshape our understanding of the spread of Iron working on the continent. That's the actual horse... Schematic, showing a faience scarab for the horse. The bit, one of the oldest pieces of iron ever found in Africa (at least 949 BC) https://www.universiteitleiden.nl/en/news/2018/04/discovery-3000-year-old-horse-grave https://www.livescience.com/62419-ancient-horse-burial-tombos.html1 point

No, I mean the date of the beginning of the academic year, traditionally it was on June, but recent amendments in our law moved it to August. Due to the months of June and July being the peak period of the tropical rainy season in our country.1 point

i dont know if someone here played imperivm I-III, but i always loved how they implemented the army in that game. basically, is a hero unit, that can be asigned x units, and you control all those units with that hero. it allow to micromanage every unit however you want, and at the same time, you have a unit like batallions from others games1 point

Well, it shouldn't cause breakages, but if it does, we'll soon know: https://trac.wildfiregames.com/changeset/19960 And thanks to @fatherbushido for the patch1 point

Then write something in the topic title so that it's clear that it is a mere suggestion to add the civ (rather than an already accepted civ) (maybe organize the content on the fly too?) I agree with Lion that this isn't the best suitable place to post these reference1 point
