  1. Past hour
  2. I see, why not make it like the Athenian metal mining bonus they get per age then, that would be a simpler and cleaner setup I think, the current system works, just looks odd having the same thing copy pasted thrice
  3. I did check the gather rates, for a while I thought Carthage had some how gotten an extra 75% stone mining rate lol, then realised that was not the case. Makes sense to leave out the buttons
  4. Huge step forward. Lag is basically gone even in 4v4 games. OOS errors are gone. Some stuff can be found if one looks hard, but nothing that is worth to stick longer to a27.1.
  5. Today
  6. Hey I know that A28 had been released and you want autociv... But I'm so busy with work during weekdays that I can only work on this during the weekend. I wasn't noticed of the exact release date. For now, tonight I will try to publish a version that restores your hot keys Then this weekend I will work on the other features Main blockers: 1. Can't get the stats panel to show itself, I keep getting the engine.GetGUIObjectByID not able to get the correct ID 2. Cancel button doesn't work from time to time In the meantime feel free to propose other features that you want + i would appreciate some help on the 2 blockers thanks I haven't been able to update to the latest release yet because Arch pacman wasn't updated as of last night
  7. Whatsoever - this is a GREAT achievement! Thank you so much to all the contributors and developers!!!!! Certainly , no software is perfect and there will be always observations and issues. Doing your best to provide a consolidated release is a huge endeavour. We as players are extremely grateful!
  8. buddy, I think those are autociv exclusive commands, not part of vanilla... not sure tho
  9. well, makes sense, but they seem op in all the games I've seen them being properly used eae
  10. The bonus is that they are free and instant with each age, so why make people click them? Basically you get the techs effect each age. Its listed three times because its implemented as auto-research unique techs. Instead, it could be turned into a variant of the phase-up technologies.
  11. @Fabius Those tecs are learned automatically and don't need nor have a button; look at the gather rates.
  12. Why didn't you play test for the last 3 months? You surely won't claim that isn't enough time, would you?
  13. I don’t know why R28 is even out yet, it’s super buggy. No where near done being play tested.
  14. Carthage has the stone mining bonus of 25% listed 3 times, but also has a bonus saying that stone mining upgrades are free despite not having any stone mining upgrades apparently
  15. Sure. It pretty straightforward for those. Teutobod = *þeudō (people, tribe) + *budô (voice, message, command) = Þeudōbudô Lugius = *Lugi- (of the Lugii) + *-jaz (equivalent to Latin name ending in -ius) = Lugijaz Boiorix = *Bajā-/*Boio- (of the Boii) + *-rīks (king) = Bajārīks
  16. eae They are Iberian mercenaries, I don't see any problems. The patch was meant to differentiate the mercenaries a bit.
  17. Great thanks to the devs for their hard work, looking forward to playing the new version It seems the Spartan Ritualistic exercise bonus is dysfunctional, though I question why they needed such a strong bonus for an already strong infantry civ. As mentioned earlier the Roman Fertility bonus is also dysfunctional sadly Ptolomies do not have the ability to train civilians at their colony despite it saying in the building description that they should.
  18. Honestly, just say what needs to nerf or buff, you don't need the title as its not that special man. Contribute-discuss-critisize-wrestle-stab and eventually you might get it once your worthy
  19. The balanced version of some maps are nice too, Slopes, Coast range, Foothills, Continent.
  20. I don't think it is. With 4v4 and circle it just offers the best games. The pockets and the borders have different roles. Getting good in the game just takes so much time and repetition. The players need a bit of guidance and dedicated roles. The variance comes from the game play and not from the map. This is only true for a certain elo range. The problem with weaker player is that they don't understand and act reasonably. If the weaker player is put in the pocket often times he doesn't come for help when necessary. He booms and does it poorly so in the end nothing is gained. Admittedly the better player often doesn't come either, because he might don't see it as worth it. If the weak player can keep the strong one busy for a while the team might benefit even though the weak player takes more damage than the strong attacker as he's slowed in his eco. Yeah, even though I like mainland 4v4 the most, some variety in the placement, biome, civ, no ally vision etc. spice things up
  21. I believe you forget ptol don't have pyramids
