wowgetoffyourcellphone
I think chicken placement needs adjustment due to Civil Centers being non-standard footprint sizes. Especially on older maps.
Gurken Khan
I think placement in this case was fine. It's just that that chicken was strolling in 'n out that corner of the CC.

I think if an object is spawned within an obstruction, it then ignores that obstruction for the duration or until it can exit again. It's an odd bug that's kind of an outlier. Gurken Khan
I once again want to mention that I'm very unhappy with the game using different numbers from what is shown to the player. Everything looks like I can build a CC, but when I press the button nothing happens. I didn't even get an error message, which I believe was the case previously. I had to get another metal to build, it's a rounding thing and a fringe case. Still I think it's fundamentally wrong that the numbers and the button make it seem like I can build that structure when in fact I can't. And it's still baffling to me that parts of the game think I can build it (as shown by the normal appearance of the button), while other parts decide I cannot (as evidenced by pressing said button). It would be better if the button was greyed/redded out and told me what the problem is, but ideally there wouldn't be different interpretations of 187. savegame-1459.0adsave
Gurken Khan
Building walls is sooo effing annoying and frustrating. (When it's not just building on flat ground with no enemies around.) "Naturally" I can't rebuild the segment that got destroyed at the end of the wall. Can somebody tell me why I can't build those two segments previewed here? Looks to me like I should be able, but when I click it's just nothing, no foundations laid. savegame-1502.0adsave
Gurken Khan
My marked peeps here are idle because they try to reach the dock on the other shore; alas, they can't. I wish units were disregarding unreachable dropsites; especially when viable alternatives are available. savegame-1567.0adsave
Gurken Khan Posted Tuesday at 19:08 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 19:08 (edited) Have the experiments been conducted? Can the map be overhauled? To fairer seeds? I think the wood placement is total BS. Speaking of res: These are three different things, if you couldn't tell at first glance. I think the rock doesn't look rocky enough, the metal not metally enough and the clutter too minerally. Edit: Oh, and all the "eye candy" bushes can go. I don't like them anyway, why would they look like wood when they aren't; makes this confusing map even more confusing. Best replace them with actual bushes. Edit2: some more BS One of these logs is actual wood, the other "decoration". Edited Tuesday at 21:11 by Gurken Khan 1
Gurken Khan
Shouldn't Perikles with his Scholarship and the Arts perk give buildings an aura overlay? I believe other heroes with comparable (research) perks do that.
