  1. German language sometime tends to let speakers create very long sentences ... the tool tip on the upper right corner needs to get more space (or the translation needs to get shorter). The build date in the left corner on the bottom seems to be incorrect (25.05.2022), guessing it must have been in the very last days.
  2. There is a specific thread for reports like this, pinned on this forum: I guess this topic can be closed.
  3. Hello seeh I understand we're seeing an image of a nearly defeated player, claimed to be a beginner. The player might have placed fields (you're calling them farms) more afar from the CC than usual. Probably the person doesn't even know the funtion of farmsteadts and might not understand the importance of short distances between field and "drop-off-site" (sorry, dunno whats the correct term). We can speculate, if people think, different undergrounds lead to different results, but I guess we need to ask them directly. Based on a missing interrogation, it would be too much effort to change all the maps or write manual chapters on how it doesn't affect farming. If I meet players online, acting like described, I will try to ask them to bring some light in this topic. Best wishes Obelix
  4. RC 3 and RC 4 both have triggered Microsoft Defender SmartScreen, as the setup.exe does not come from a verified vendor.
  5. @Anyone attempting to reply to this question: It has been answered in another thread. btw: Thank you, @Belisarius17, for your screenshots. You must have put much energy in building this scenario. Would you please insert a link to other scenario-related threads to make it easier to get an overview over your work? That would be great! Otherwise someone hast to search for the exact title of the scenario, cause the search results for empires+at+war are quite overwhelming, but not leading to your portfolio .
  6. As I think this bug is not a release blocker, I tagged this report with the version of the next release @Freagarach: Thank you for posting a similar place! The specific place in the map 'Via Augusta' is this one: My ally did not attack this gaia bench selected, but the wooden structure of the bridge, I cannot select. Now I could refind the replay: 2021-06-18_0002.zip
  7. Last match, which I unfortunately did'nt record, one of three Petra Bot AIs (Player 3, my ally) was constantly attacking the bridge in the middle of the map due to some Gaia furniture. I myself could'nt attack it. But in the end, the bridge was free. Despite having had a victory in the match, it was very slowing down the game, because the AI did not attack Player 4. Is there any way to either fix the map or the AI? I consider this as a hint for a potential bug report in Alpha 26.
  8. Yesterday evening I had a quick chat with @Langbart via IRC concerning the fact, that after installing RC 1 (Win), which is 25799, the build info on the startup screen says, it is 25794. The quoted post contains the problematised Info. May someone please confirm, that this is not a bug? Yesterday, one of the theories was, that it might be connected with different OS-builds, but we distanced ourselves from the theorie quickly.
  9. Thank you very much for this very transparent phase before the release! It helps me to to feel more connected with the game (development) and I really appreciate that!
  10. This listicle should be translated in other languages! I guess this helps beginners from all around the world. Unfortunately I do not understand every piece of information in this post, so I cannot translate it fully to German.
  11. Think I managed to do it in the past, but it cost me tons of resources as bribes.
  12. _please move this to bug reports, if it seems to be one_ _unsure if it is a feature_ On the weekend, I was playing the Release Candidate 3 of 0 A.D. Alpha 23 and was wondering: What triggers the AI to declare other players war? I started games with three players (me plus two AIs) who were all in one team. In the options I set 'Last Man Standing' true. In the first game, Player 2 declared war to Player 3 after one of them set the first trading route. In game two, one declared war to another without any obvious trigger. Do you have any tips for me to understand its behaviour?
  13. Why should hacker use conspicuous user names, do you have any other hint for this suspicion?
  14. Have a look at the Release Process Draft. Feels like I am also pressing F5 too often, cause I cannot wait anymore. ;-) Already thought about testing the Release Candidate (RC) from releases.wildfire.com.
