Rams have high pierce armour to counter ranged units. As spearman deals pierce damage, it is affected by that. Giving spearman only hack damage, would make them more similar to swordsmen. Giving them another type of damage, its kind of hard for new players to get into current 3 damage types. Spearmen and pikeman got pierce damage in the (dont remember number) alpha rebalance, which have been told has been tested with players at that time for some month(s). So to not end up spearman is better version of swordsman and swordsman is now useless, it needs deeper thought. From the current state swordsman is supposed to be anti siege unit. What role it will have if that is taken away?

Ah, sorry. Sure more moderators are welcome. I just wanted point out that one should not expect the issue to go away unless there will be active moderator for every part of the day.

To be fair, there are other moderators in the lobby. Though not sure how active they are or what timezones they live in so it can happen that even if there will be more moderators, its not guaranteed 24 h moderation so the issue will likely not be solved anyway.

For blocking projectiles: Well, one can still shoot over walls and palisades if one wants to. Main point is to prevent units from freely walking into the settlement/town and to give defenders some time to react. But yes, would be nice, its just performance nightmare -
If someone has time, willingness to moderate the lobby, I think one can apply for that position, that said I dont know who is authorised to decide if one passes the criteria and grand privileges.

its a bit tricky to make sure gates are placed correctly to not block important paths, also getting rid of resources in the way for example to circle town with walls is kind of just by luck just lack of code

moslty yes. One big actor has one texture. one material and one mesh to pass to gpu and then it does one big draw. if you do the same actor and you divide it into props, every prop has own mesh, material and texture so everythings needs to be passed to gpu and drawn separately what causes context switching and that takes time.

Btw, for this one. It is very easy for ai from my experience to get formations to stuck and therefore to loose the match. But maybe that was just poor code by me. Anyway here are chalenges: You need to find free enough space to put your army into formations and it gets hard with big army. You need to detect that two formations are stuck in each other and deal with it somehow. You need to detect if you are caught in dense forrest and therefore cant move on. Attack code needs huge rewrite for formation usage.

its not like she does not like champions, before a24, champions were mostly not trained from barracks, so huge attack had mix of champions and citizen soldiers to not have idle barracks. I remeber reading some thread where was complain that ai just builds huge army and then rolls over you so small attacks have been added to it. why would you limit capability of ai ? if enemy ai cant prevent ai from utilizing more resources, its enemy's ai fault

hi, do they actually rejoin the match and then it kicks them out, or they are kicked out before they load the map, synchronize the match? do they get to see loading screen when rejoining? do the matches require password? no, formations do not affect stats of units. But there are (if were not changed, don't remember) heroes with auras given to units in the same formation.
