Garrisoned units just increase the number of arrows fired from a building. It's not like an individual unit is firing from that building. I don't entirely remember how A23 handled it, but i think the major change to A25 is that only military units are considered to add to the number or fired arrows from a building. -
Why not discuss liked/successful open world games? sounds like it could give some good recommendations for readers. While definitely not an RTS in itself, have you heard of Foxhole? It does have RTS elements to it. EDIT: As to add one myself, Forza Horizon 5 was rather a dissapointment to me compared to what we already had to 4 (and 3). Also getting tired of them re-using old assets and not fixing / improving car sounds.

Yeah but try 50% damage increase over your un-upgraded army. Wouldn't pick that battle. -

One could also make tabs between Statistics and History and BuildList(? for anyone who wants it, but might be a good idea if D4740 gets pushed). With tabs you have more room to work with.

You need to define it in `templates/special/player.xml`. IIRC you need to put the generic name of the unit without spaces.

it's part of ⚙ D4385 Multiplayer lobby ui enchancements (wildfiregames.com). I restricted it to 100 there from 256 as it currently is.

Played this game for 6 years and only now noticed i don't have it on either lol. Could make the button red if it's disabled or something so it catches the eye better.

Adding a 4th rank for some units (if a champion of that unit type exists in the civ roster) is what i did with Grapejuice. For example Athenian hoplite into City Guards. Imo it makes the most sense that they get experience out in the field to earn a champion status. If this would be the goal of a player you would need to play with a different mindset. The upside is, you get champions for free, The downside is, it's not so easy. But i guess that's balance. I agree that history should be supported for promoting them into champions and possibly even dress up specific unit models for it but that's certainly not the hard part to do.

The idea is that modders- if interested- add their own mod to the page on Trac and we get a nice list together. sooo it isn't easy to count then? lots of people around with a weird smurf fetish. And i think the people that are actually playing competitively is well below 40 ppl. The rest often get instakicked from games or are smurfs anyway so you always end up with the same bunch. The rest of the lobby are mostly buddies playing together in a relatively relaxed setting.

https://code.wildfiregames.com/D4385 but it's a wip and needs some updates though. I need to get back to it sometime soon aswell as other patches. I'm certainly open for suggestions to include in the patch though.
