  1. I just meant they have a civ, but aren't one, was my point. Good point, didn't catch that. (it really should just show the civ though imo)
  2. Isn't the banner suppose to show the civ like it does though? Certainly is more useful than showing a gaia banner imo. Also more consistent.
  3. No need to take down the lobby, but i like the idea of having a message popup when a player joins the lobby that theres a release candidate for the next alpha available to play. Like a popup window with the message where someone can choose Download or Close.
  4. @Wendy22 Are you simply talking about bad performance in big / mid-late mp games? Or does it start with bad performance?

  6. I think this is nice to have but not inside the main menu list, but instead in the little square we have for info about the game already. Maybe in the place of chat button instead as i don't really see people joining IRC chat from there. I seem to vaguely remember that theres an ingame report button in the making but not entirely sure.
  7. You can also open the console with `F9` and scroll with `PAGE UP` and `PAGE DOWN`. EDIT: Also good to see players actually testing instead of just talking about it on the forum.

  10. I actually like the mechanic that it takes time to switch but 8 seconds seems way to much indeed. Like 1-2s or something would be fine imo.
  11. Garrisoned units just increase the number of arrows fired from a building. It's not like an individual unit is firing from that building. I don't entirely remember how A23 handled it, but i think the major change to A25 is that only military units are considered to add to the number or fired arrows from a building.
  12. Why not discuss liked/successful open world games? sounds like it could give some good recommendations for readers. While definitely not an RTS in itself, have you heard of Foxhole? It does have RTS elements to it. EDIT: As to add one myself, Forza Horizon 5 was rather a dissapointment to me compared to what we already had to 4 (and 3). Also getting tired of them re-using old assets and not fixing / improving car sounds.

  14. Yeah but try 50% damage increase over your un-upgraded army. Wouldn't pick that battle.

  16. One could also make tabs between Statistics and History and BuildList(? for anyone who wants it, but might be a good idea if D4740 gets pushed). With tabs you have more room to work with.

  19. I'd be ok with promotion techs at the barracks. Still personally prefer them to actually earn it out in the field though. Good.
  20. Actually units getting to elite level happens quite often, at least in teamgames around 1500 rating i've experienced. The weird 3s(?) invincibility when getting promoted certainly helps it. Especially when players spam healers too.
  21. I think you can do that in the same file.
  22. You need to define it in `templates/special/player.xml`. IIRC you need to put the generic name of the unit without spaces.
