I think acceleration should be tweaked to only occur when transitioning from idle or stopped state to move state. If going from move to move, such as when turning at a waypoint, then acceleration should not occur. Also, currently if you task a moving unit to a different target, the moving unit has to accelerate again, each time you task it. As I said, since the unit is already in motion the acceleration should be turned off. @wraitii @Freagarach -

I think the current "civil_centre" model should become the Tachara (aka "Winter Palace"), which replaces the current "Apadana" in function. Then, a new civil_centre modeled. Apadana (aka "The Palace of Darius") should 100% be the new wonder. The "Hanging Gardens" moved to Atlas status as a "Wonder of the World" that can be used for scenarios and a new "Capture the Wonder" game mode. So, to bullet point the proposed changes: Wonder Current "Hanging Gardens" moved to Atlas-object status as a "Wonder of the World" that can be used for scenarios and a new "Capture the Wonder" game mode. The new wonder is the Apadana, aka "Palace of Darius I." Needs a new model and perhaps some new textures (though many of the existing textures can be used as well). Civic Center Redesigned with a new model. Existing model now used for the Special Building. Special Building Rechristened the Tachara, aka "Winter Palace," using the current civil centre model. Has the same functions and features, just a different name and model. The old model discarded. It's pretty much unusable. "Hall" Perhaps some redesign and tweaking of the model. AO map for sure. Ishtar Gate Moved to Atlas-object status as a "Wonder of the World" that can be used for scenarios and a new "Capture the Wonder" game mode. Would be nice to be remodeled to be more elaborate, but the existing model can be used for now. -

It is justified to give the Xiongnu "real" fortress too, made of rammed earth. They built their fortress capital city out of the material.

Yes, please take a crack at it! This is what Delenda Est uses, but it's taken from Age of Mythology and is unusable in the base game. But Cleopatra did fashion herself as a new Isis, so a regal/Isis head dress wouldn't be out of the question. I will say that most references show her with "simpler" attire, probably looking more like this most of the time, but what's the fun in that? -
Hi all! I'm currently in the process of reorganizing the the unit actors and unit textures in the development (SVN) repo. Please bear with me if you're an SVN player. The rest of the changes will take perhaps the rest of this week. It'll be worth it, as the reorganization helps the art team moving forward and makes it easier to maintain assets. And as I'm going through everything I'm improving textures, actors, and adding some new things here and there. So content wise, everything will look nicer to the end user. Lastly, I'm deleting old lower resolution lower quality textures and unused textures (trust me, in the end you won't miss them). This will reduce graphics memory load. So, sit tight. My project shouldn't last much longer.
