  1. lol I think we can let that slide, but the size of the stairs definitely supports having the larger footprint. Looking good!

  3. Staaaan Slow down, you're mutilating barrels! I'd bring down the foundations a tad too, just to be safe that includes the barrels, unless you want to drop prop them in I'd say do the other one too, this viking series is looking neat

  5. Seems a little rough hatch for a main menu background, but the building design does tile, and it is main menu resolution

  7. There ARE no texture packs, it'll be a while still before they're ready. I dont think we have anyone working on the atm.

  9. haha I'm seeing nice development in your work! Those seams don't look too bad, but those textures look strangely familiar.
  10. We can't start modelling until we have a texture pack ready, Stan. Believe me I would be on it like white on rice if that wasn't the case ;P It's much harder adding textures to finished models than it is developing the UVs at the same time.

  12. The string locks in at the end of the slide, so either the barrel would end before the end of the stock, or the weapon wouldn't pull back completely It might not be imperative in the other siege weapons but the polybolos kind of relies on it.

  14. Scorpio shoots every 2.5 seconds?! spindly little thing outshoots the oxybeles in every regard Really? Maybe? I havent updated my SVN in a while animation's going to be a little quick guy looks a little awkward just standing there, but at least his siege weapon shoots now

Carthaginian ballista I gave a firing animation too, but hypercam isn't working right now so no screenies I'd like to have engineers before I do mobile siege, and I'm not sure we'd have mobile onagers for any factions anyway. The ships sound like a good idea, but we can prop land siege onto them. Especially awesome if we get turrets working

I did it in my public SVN for ponies ascendant, I have files to transfer to the dev SVN keep getting sidetracked by new siege weapons in other news, the Carthaginian ballista doesn't look very plausible atm because the reinforcing struts limit the draw of the sling. From the looks of it that ballista can only pull back about a meter before firing :/
  17. whup, hang on nice catch stan I have the projectile prop parented to the slidey bit instead of the sling

Projectile fires before the animation is quite complete (before the projectile prop reaches the end of the stock), and the catapult's repeat time is basically what's driving the animation speed the template would need to be altered for a longer prepare time:repeat time to fix both these problems
  19. I'll hold off animating engineers until we have new unit meshes, but here are the hellenistic lithobolos catapults and their firing animation pew pew
