That would need a plaster texture, not dyed stone, stone textures look a tad silly all red and such -

windows are too close to the edges for archers to comfortably use them, some vertical division will help too. -

Ought to retain championship then, though champion elephant skirms sounds real cool (sort of negates the whole 'good against buildings' thing though)- 1.040 replies

also, what niche would the axeman fill opposed to the swordsman? I would like to see citizen clubmen. if you wanted the axemen to fill a anti-shield role, well, there would need to be shield tags added to every shielded unit (lots of them) general anti infantry like in AOM would be nice, but that makes swordsmen a bit redundant.- 1.040 replies

War elephants are typically champion units, only exception being the Mauryan work and archer elephants. Could the Kushite war elephant be a skirmisher citizen elephant or do elephants hold too much prestige in kushite culture?- 1.040 replies

Maybe not, I would be more comfortable with a ground decal to tie it all together. I would also like for temples to be standardized in vanilla, but that might be wishful thinking. But that sort of thinking makes me reluctant to stray from the general Greek 2x+1=y temple footprint- 1.040 replies

Well I know, but you might run into similar problems I ran into with PA, fact of the matter being maps can get tight very quickly with large buildings, especially baobab-heavy ones. A civ needing a spam of special buildings to begin with is already at a space disadvantage. Also a building with that much empty space around it is going to look silly, even if you scatter columns about- 1.040 replies

I would be in favor of that if the footprints were compatible, but they're not. The metropoleis tech and the defense tower upgrade work because the footprints of the before and after models are identical. even house to apartment conversions are possible for the Carthaginians atm- 1.040 replies

Fast track thread, I like it. As lovely as ceremonial pylons would be for the gate house, my concern is that it doesn't leave a lot of room for troops and elephants especially. Pathfinder is going to be particularly upset with it.- 1.040 replies

Well we got pyramids, I remember Sundiata saying the temple of Amun should be a special building, but then I'm not sure what our wonder would be in that case. We got elephants for siege, I would support sapper units as always, but otherwise no clue on siege weapons.- 1.040 replies
