  1. I thought we had new spears, I think the 2 handed lance wasn't updated and I don't see that here? At any rate I'm all for adding polys, they really take away from the models with the 4 sides and all lol

  4. @wowgetoffyourcellphone Javelins are likely going to be the hardest to hear. Halberd and knight noises are awful but I was more thinking of the pikes and slings.

  6. Yeah, I just think it has to do with everything being in one image tbqh. It's worse on some buildings more than others which puzzles me a bit

  8. thats in PA, also slingers and pikemen have dedicated sound as well, want them packaged for testing? i might be able to make a video otherwise. I have rhodactylos and PA installed currently lol

  10. I was hoping to get a heavier, woodier sound. I'm not particularly happy with these tbqh, much more so with the slings and pikes. I believe they're still in the PA repo
  11. I've been meaning to ask what people thought of the pike and sling foley I had in Ponies Ascendant, the projectile 'woosh' and fork and knife melee need to be tailored to different attack types
  12. yesss sound design has really been holding this game's aesthetic back I like it, follows the same rhythm as the barracks a bit, so it wont stick out
  13. Usually do this but I felt like being particularly stupid today. Also when i went to check where i left off it autosaved over my autosave so now i have it set to backlog at least 10
  14. It'd probably play like a Stronghold game, especially neat since you have to pick what buildings you can build in that limited space.
  15. Still native, I might sweep through later and either selectively change them/ add variations, or else overhaul and let the native structures remain for rural buildings and split the rest for mapmakers.

  17. I suppose we could add CadNav to the credits for attribution's sake, I don't see any specific artist's claim on it. I'm cautious because I heard a while back there was a misunderstanding with CGTextures license being incompatible with our own, despite being a free texture distributor...
  18. I would trust him if it was intended for 0 A.D. vanilla, not so much for DE, which has copyrighted placeholder art. "free" doesn't specify if it's CC0 or if we need attribution or what. Point being I would feel much more comfortable if it were home grown, or at least knew the original artist for attribution.
