  7. I think using anything recognizable will make it look old. The trend is now Material so we could go for something like that with our own colors. But I believe this will break the immersion as our game isnt supposed to be a web game.

If you haven't already I'd suggest you download the source code and look at how our backgrounds are made. Basically we split the image into three layers Sky, Characters, and terrain Each layer gets its own image hereby giving the sliding effect

  16. Btw @Alexandermb how do you get so clean results when sculpting ? Do you use custom brushes or some extension ? Is there a tutorial you could recommend ?

  18. Nice ! You could generate a curvature map using xnormal (two colors), remove the red by adding a substracting red layer and overlay that on the texture. That would give a subtle touch of a wearyness to the texture. Also, you can apply a bump map to the texture when you bake to make it look a bit less flat Can you upload the blend ? Can you make variations ? Here is an example with the kush skullcap of the bump. kush_skullcap1.blend

  20. It's still planned and some work has been made toward that direction. However you won't see any in the next version. In any case there is a lot of things to be hyped about until then. A23 is a the corner and has its fair share of new features and improvements.

  22. Yeah check the audio folder. It's a mess but there are a lot of unused sounds in there. I should have made a video just didn't have the time.
