  2. Not quite sure where this should be posted. So feel free to move it to a better place. I play sparta a lot. Lately I've branched out because I feel like they are one of the "most plain" civs. They have the least variety. I know when played right they can be really strong, and Brasidas is a bad @#$% hero. But I'm wondering if there is a way to spice them up a little. Ive had these discussions with players in game. I know originally one of the goals was to be somewhat historical to each civ. Of course the game needs balance too, so all civs get rams But im wondering why guals can get their champs (naked fanatics p2) but spartans can't get spartiates until p3 (when from what I understand boys as young as six would go have to start training to be a spartiate!) The game used to mention how spartiates are the strongest melee units in the game. But wouldnt the upgrade shield barers from mace be better? Their tech boost dmg and health. Also melee as it is seems a little broken (ive seen the post on that and plan to follow.) Would be nice if games were not always won by range units! just my two cents!

  6. AFAIK Musk was already a proficient programmer at the age of 15, developing commercial solutions. So, regardless of how wealthy he was, I'm pretty confident he wasn't picking fights on the street lol.

  7. AFAIK his parents had an emerald (?) mine in apartheid SA which is also the basis for his wealth. And further AFAIK Zuck practices martial arts and has fought in tournaments; so I really think Elon would have his butt handed to him quite swiftly.

  8. If they actually fight, I suspect Zuckerberg's strategy of training for a fight will work out better for him than Musk's strategy of non-stop shitposting on Twitter.

  9. It's amazing how far entertainment has gone. I wonder if one day we'll see a COD tournament among the presidents of the most important world countries.

  11. I just hope both suffer. ^^ I read today it could be more a debate than a physical fight; if not my money is on Zuck.

  14. In the period of the Tetrarchy and subsequently a distinctive type of round, brimless hat known as the Pannonian cap (pileus pannonicus) was worn as part of a Roman soldier's costume, though it also seems to have been worn by non-military bureaucrats. It was flat topped and resembled the more recent 'pillbox hat'. Mentioned with this name by Vegetius in his Epitoma rei militaris, the pileus pannonicus was the main hat of the Late Roman soldier. It was also used by emperors, as testified in the famous statue of the Tetrarchs now in Venice, dated to the end of the 3rd century. Historically, the precursor to the pillbox hat was military headgear. During the late Roman Empire, the pileus pannonicus or "Pannonian cap" – headgear similar to the modern pillbox hat – was worn by Roman soldiers. A similar hat was popular with the Flemish in the Middle Ages. In some countries, especially those of the Commonwealth of Nations, a pillbox-like forage cap, often with a chin strap, can still be seen on ceremonial occasions. The Royal Military College of Canada dress uniform includes such a hat, and similar caps were standard issue for the Victorian era British Army. Another cap called a kilmarnock is a modern version of the traditional headdress worn by members of virtually all Gurkha regiments. Materials: Wool, lined in linen.
