  1. How so? i'm alone for most events and it's usually intense. BTW i try to collect all 0AD talks in this playlist. maybe a good idea to collect talks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLNH5-ARCZN6TNMe7otnIgD7grotmSZhZ3&index=3

  2. I'm honestly of the belief that most of the civs can pretty much have access to (nearly) every unit type through mercenaries.

  3. I added some info to the build instructions about using distcc to speed up build times. I see that using distcc has been mentioned here before:

  4. Maybe it would work with a RPI4 cluster

  5. A mercenary option would be great for the Mauryas

  6. still needs the queries. potentially optimizable by keeping a table of all palisade segments and neighbours, updated by build ruitines, but that would need further work. actual performance fall has to be tested to be known.

  7. While I also think it's ugly I'm fine with different people enjoying the game in different ways.

  8. Making new textures isn't impossible, it's just a lack of rationale. If you keep CS, the soldiers themselves are male civilians, and there is no need to add a separate male civilian. If CS is abolished, then there is no need to make new textures, because soldiers no longer have the civilian clothes they work when they work. Just because this is clear, whether it is "Classic Mode" or "Delenda Est", "Mirror" and other mods, they all go a step further on the basis of this mod with male and female citizens, and simply cancel CS.

  9. That would be the cart Cothon. I think it's ok, although I can't remember ever using it. Maybe allow it for all civs and give the Cothon an additional bonus. AFAIK it was always the case that repairs were made while the vessel was sailing. Ofc not a dry dock situation, and one probably wouldn't be able to replace masts, but apart from that I'd actually be ok with an auto-repair up to 80%.

  10. I think one of the civ's had/has this feature. If I remember, it was in one of those large round docks. It would seem more realistic to repair this way, rather than any villager/militia having the tools on them to do this.

  11. This would work like taking the ship to drydock for repairs. Sounds cool .

  12. homing missile arrows are pretty bad too, animations are clunky, and there are a lot of gimmicky features. Ex. one time usage of a CC power that instantly heals nearby buildings. <- cringe

  13. this is a ugly mod, and disrespectful of the 0ad game designers :/
