  1. The awkward part was the developer's response, "Dont you all have phones? *giggle*" Pretty tone deaf to your audience. They obviously already knew their fans weren't going to like the answer.

  4. Don't run games in a VM it's not worth it. We will support Mac as long as we find a way to make the game compatible on it. OpenGL deprecation doesn't mean it will be removed just yet. So here are the current reason why Mac Support is complicated right now that we can do something about. Im planning to buy the most recent mac 500€ can get so that might be a 2012 version. I can't really afford a more expensive Mac as I'm going to buy a new laptop to do art stuff and mac won't do ... No one building the game on mac No one testing the SVN version often No one testing the Multiplayer of SVN often Here are the reasons that might make Mac really hard to develop on in the future. OpenGL suppression. If they delete OpenGL libraries from MacOs, new macs and new version of MacOs won't allow you to run the game without huge graphic engine changes on our side. Mac ditching Intel for ARM, if they do that, it will be way harder to compile the game for Mac. Because 0 A D code + All the libraries + All the external libraries will have to be tested on a complete different platform where things might be really different. Here are the things we can do to to fix the three first bullet points. Gather as much Mac Players in the community as we can, how many are you guys ? 5 ? Explain how to compile the game / make it more straightforward. (It's really about opening the terminal, and typing a few commands there getting in touch with us and helping us debug stuff out) Here are the things we can do for the rest Find two motivated devs that want to work together review each others patches, and switch from OpenGL to Vulkan, and Molten VK on Mac. That will mean anyone with a Graphics card older than 5 or 6 years won't be able to play the game anymore. Find someone on an ARM platform that's willing to go through the process of making our code compatible. It's not starting from scratch as stuff as been done for Android (though not finished) but it's gonna be tough, and currently we simply don't have the man power.

  5. svn is tested more or less permanently by a number of players (those who are able to download svn and annoyed by some dealbreaker bugs), but not on macOS That assumes that there aren't compiling or linking issues, version conflicts. There are what feels like 1% Mac OS people on the lobby. Most of them are never seen again after few lobby joins (even if they could play with the icon fix mod). Of the handful remaining that occasionally join the lobby and can be communicated with, one of them had a version conflict issue, the others are not available for such discourses. It really needs a developer to record, investigate and fix reported issues. I guess that will again be done by people who don't have a mac again with a VM, rather than the developers with macOS fixing their system (please prove me wrong).

  7. Ah, right, I don't think we have something that define rotation speed. But then again, a slow rotation against a straight line would curve it right ? Unless the thing rotates then moves. Which may or may not look weird.

  8. Keywords in the Osprey article were 1.) Long spears (2 meters) 2.) Short swords (Almost similar to the roman gladius and hung on the shoulder and not the hips) 3.) Bows (Heavy reliance on archers) Spears and bows are the ideal weapons according to Islamic tradition.

  13. There might not be a predefined shortcut to only select healthy units, but do you know about the Ctrl+O drag modifier that deselects wounded units from an active selection? Also, if you use numbered groups of units, you could just assign the wounded units to a different key, which takes them out of their original group. Suppose you Ctrl+1'd your army before a fight. Now when you O-select the wounded units and press Ctrl+2, pressing 1 again only selects healthy units of the original army. This could be exactly what you need if you want to keep using the 1 key to select your army after sending wounded units elsewhere.

  15. I agree. It is easier to cover all side and it takes less space. It is not the same than successive walls.

  17. Make sure you apply the mod selection changes. Else Atlas won't load it. Also note you have to open Atlas via the game.
