What has happened in the past is that at first there are no advertising links. Then days later the user edits the post to include advertising links. This makes it quite a bit more difficult for moderators to detect. It's good that multiple people are noticing these types of posts. We can either ban them on the spot or monitor them for when they edit their posts. I've typically done the latter. Unfortunately, I don't think following this thread or the user gives notification of when a post is edited, so it needs to be checked manually.
