Jagsus gets his hands on R28- witness my rant
borg- replied to Arup's topic in Game Development & Technical Discussion
eae They are Iberian mercenaries, I don't see any problems. The patch was meant to differentiate the mercenaries a bit. -

Great thanks to the devs for their hard work, looking forward to playing the new version It seems the Spartan Ritualistic exercise bonus is dysfunctional, though I question why they needed such a strong bonus for an already strong infantry civ. As mentioned earlier the Roman Fertility bonus is also dysfunctional sadly Ptolomies do not have the ability to train civilians at their colony despite it saying in the building description that they should.

Honestly, just say what needs to nerf or buff, you don't need the title as its not that special man. Contribute-discuss-critisize-wrestle-stab and eventually you might get it once your worthy

The balanced version of some maps are nice too, Slopes, Coast range, Foothills, Continent.

I don't think it is. With 4v4 and circle it just offers the best games. The pockets and the borders have different roles. Getting good in the game just takes so much time and repetition. The players need a bit of guidance and dedicated roles. The variance comes from the game play and not from the map. This is only true for a certain elo range. The problem with weaker player is that they don't understand and act reasonably. If the weaker player is put in the pocket often times he doesn't come for help when necessary. He booms and does it poorly so in the end nothing is gained. Admittedly the better player often doesn't come either, because he might don't see it as worth it. If the weak player can keep the strong one busy for a while the team might benefit even though the weak player takes more damage than the strong attacker as he's slowed in his eco. Yeah, even though I like mainland 4v4 the most, some variety in the placement, biome, civ, no ally vision etc. spice things up

Coloquei as fotos e os detalhes de cada civilização adicionada no jogo do mod Endovelico em fóruns e no Reddt, queria saber se vão adicionar ao jogo civilizações do norte da Europa

I'd prefer tactical, diplomatic, or civilization-building bonuses. Economic bonuses are pretty annoying and make them after a wonder seems late. And military bonuses unbalance endgame battles and reduce the depth of strategies and troop movement. We can imagine a passif bonus for wonder and one different by civilisation. Passive : increase capture resistance of the player X2, give 40 house population (not a pop cap). Passive by civilisation : need fix it Civilization Passive Effect Details / RTS Notes Rome Pax Romana Forces a global ceasefire for 1 minute. Cooldown: 10 minutes. / Useful for repositioning armies or delaying an assault. Can trade on roman camp. Maurya Universal Knowledge All technologies become free for the player. Permanent bonus. / Encourages technological superiority. Sparta Double Hero & League Tax Can recruit a second hero simultaneously. “League Tax” bonus: receives 40 metal every 60 seconds per controlled ally (0 in duel, 120 in 4v4 team games). Athens Hero Memory Allows recruitment of heroes who have died. / Encourages high-risk play and strategic planning. Carthage Carthaginian Ingenuity Walls automatically regenerate. Metal mines deplete more slowly (+50% metal in each mine), Military production buildings construct 50% faster. Bretons Champion Monks Monks can switch into melee combat units (like Immortals) via a button. Strong attack, weak resistance./ Adds strategic versatility, new unit for a lot cost Iberians Vigilance & Engineering Building have line of sight increased by 100%.- Castles construct 50% faster. Enhances map control and rapid fortifications. Macedonians Macedonians strengh Allow the recruitment of 4 general, higher champ cav, with 500 HP in stables. / Adds strategic versatility, new unit for a lot cost Kush Camel expansion New unit in stable slower than horse but they have an aura -25% attack for ennemy horses. Gauls ? ? Ptol Pyramid All pyramid can produce all champ unit type and they heal like a temple

It also helps put into perspective how much work went into this release. Thanks a lot to the dev team!!

Also wanna point out this handy changelog overview for my fellow modders https://gitea.wildfiregames.com/0ad/0ad/wiki/Release28 EDIT: I just noticed the orignal post has the link aswell lol, ah well can't hurt to show it again.

Thanks. Can you tell me how you pieced them together?

Players are free to do what they want, only the host fix it. Sheep fix the meta but meta can evolve. But an option for random position for circle could be good It would even be cool to have random teams.

Itms started following Torrent trackers unreachable

The torrents work correctly, I have been seeding them on my server without issue, currently I have a ratio of up to 10 (that's the windows 64 one). This must be a network issue on your end @Raffi Enficiaud. Do you have something in your network that could block torrent seeding? Have you tried with other torrents (such as GIMP or a Linux ISO)?

Current elo and current rank are all in order: Highest rating is greater or equal as the current rating. Maybe you think the win rate should correlate to the elo, but that depends on elo of the enemy that the players faced which are not shown here. To understand the elo distribution maybe this video helps: el

I’ve been bringing this up lately as well. Mainland is a good map, but it’s definitely overplayed. What I don’t like about circle placement is that borders consistently get the hardest role, and in practice it almost always ends up the same way: strongest players pocket, weaker players border. That makes teamgames very predictable. Border is more demanding, you’re often exposed to early pressure or even 2v1 situations, which is exactly why most players want the pocket position. But that raises an interesting question: if border is the most challenging role, shouldn’t the strongest players be the ones taking it? This feels similar to formations in football, changing positions changes the entire dynamic of the game. That’s why lately I’ve stopped playing circle placement altogether and switched to RANDOM GROUP placement (for science). It forces adaptation and makes matches feel less scripted.

Whats the bug here?

By the way, your own source supports my point: "Similarly Go. þaurp 'land, lived-on property' is the translation for Gk agrós 'land', much like ON þorp 'farm, estate'; only in the later West Germanic texts does its cognate mean 'village' as in OE þorp, OHG dorf." And when he writes "It is found only in the accusative plural in Gothic, where haimos in Matthew 9:35 translates the Greek word for village, and in Mark 5:14 the word for country;", I just proved above that there are mentions in singular forms. Just see Mark 11:02, Luke 9:52 and Luke 19:30
