I think Data was programmed with resistance against prompt injection from adversaries. In First Contact, he resisted seduction attempts from the Borg queen

Do we have a topic with all of the current "unbalanced things" that are agreed by most MP players to truly be unbalanced? As long as only those balancing issues are fixed for y'all, I don't mind. But, I wouldn't want for any "balancing fixes" to change the gameplay drastically, yet again. Aside from fixing the obvious illogical issue of having 45 women and only 5 men at 50 pop mark (which Gendered Citizens PR should fix), no radical gameplay changes should be introduced.

JagsusIndia (Arup) is a distinguished, experienced 0ad player with extensive knowledge of all aspects of gameplay details. Over the hundreds of matches that I have played with him, he has experimented with every single civ and unit type; he has deployed every known theoretical strategy into real TGs on top of his own innovations. He has unparalleled knowledge of unpopular strategic nuances and gameplay on non-standard, extreme settings, especially about the Wonder. Therefore, he will be an exceptional balancing advisor and I will support him with technical operations. As an ex-balancing advisor, I sincerely believe that he will excel at his role and contribute momentously to fixing the balancing issues for the next release!

We read you, but you know about all the 100 possible ideas. If you don't put it in the form of code or a mod, people aren't necessarily convinced.

Hello, Okay. Thank you.

I don't know if there is a way (except for editing the files). If you don't want cheats in SP just don't use them?

Arup started following How do I become a balance advisor?

I have somewhere around 300 matches or more played in the multiplayer lobby in the days since march 10, probably the highest out of anyone? Idk, @Dunedan can maybe confirm if they have a system that can detect it. I have a ton of balancing advices to make, and so I want to become a balancing advisor. how do I become one?

I have never worked with the statistics tracker in the past, unfortunately, but I'll keep it in the back of my mind.

Adding storylines to scenarios and campaigns
Vantha replied to Vantha's topic in Game Development & Technical Discussion
I will keep it general and go for just "page". It's not the 100% fitting term, but it's simple, and players will understand what it refers to. -

Liu Bei (Shu Civ unique unit) Seems like a 1:1 copy of a 0 A.D. hero concept. It even has an aura. -
Adding storylines to scenarios and campaigns

An issue may be to match the character and style of the text to that naming convention. If it was a "page", "item" or "point" then it would refer to more sober academic style, while naming it "epic","verse" or the like it would require a bit more stylish language. And that might need to be adapted to the respective subject and region, e.g. are we talking about something in ancient Greece or Rome, or in a Britannic, Indian, Persian or East Asian environment. -

Some further possible names: Story Topic Page Subject Point Item Line Aspect Article Episode Saga Poem Epic (my favourite at the moment) Book (too large, but nice and short) An if you build it like the Iliad or an old Saga: Verse Line Saw that might be in ancient Greek στίχος (stichos) -

Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition
Genava55 replied to Lion.Kanzen's topic in Introductions & Off-Topic Discussion
Did the Mamluks really ride on camels, like we see in Age of Empires II? Did they fire arrows or throw scimitars? From the exhibition "Mamluks 1250-1517," curators Souraya Noujaim and Carine Juvin analyze this video game franchise and the representation of this warrior elite, described by Adam Isgreen, Creative Director of World's Edge, the studio behind the "Age of Empires" franchise. From June 10 to July 11, an exceptional program of content and events produced in partnership with World's Edge, Xbox and the Louvre Museum is available to the public! -

Shared Territory and no Territory Borders - Mod
matematikoy replied to matematikoy's topic in Tutorials & Guides
This could be a way to improve the gameplay. Although I created it, I haven't played it enough to see how the AI behaves. If it isn't using the territory like we humans do, I'll make changes. -
Hey @wowgetoffyourcellphone, this may be a good candidate for the Galatian wonder: "The ‘oak sanctuary’ of Galatia, the Celtic province of Asia Minor, as described by Strabo (1st cent. ad), the Roman geographer. A council of the Galatians met here." https://www.oxfordreference.com/display/10.1093/oi/authority.20110803095732249

Hey hey hey All I'm trying to do is to make it harder to hack autociv. @wowgetoffyourcellphone if you have a better idea to defend the code than covering up the code, please suggest. As of now I am just brainstorming ideas and obfuscation is the first idea that came to my mind.
