Mythos_Ruler
The current Roman civ emblem doesn't work with the other civ emblems. Need something better. Maybe something like the RTW2 emblem. I took the RTW2 emblem and spiced it up in Photoshop as an example of what our could look like. Also attached are a few other civ emblems for inspiration.

Mythos_Ruler
Looking good so far. A few things: I think the eagle could be even bigger so that it's wing tips overlap the edge of the shield (we can make the shield slightly smaller to fit. Also, the outlines are very very dark. Lion.Kanzen
Add some red please. Is cool the eagle cool Enrique. And if you can do this, can do the Ptolemaic symbol. For me is very hard to do a realistic coin like a artistic eagle from Hellenistic era.And the shape of head is more different in a eagle, one thing differences a eagle from other birds is the head. Is no to rounded. Is very hard drawing a eagle, and the head is not to curvy. Edited September 22, 2013 by Lion.Kanzen
Thorfinn the Shallow Minded
One other point for possible for improvement. The eagle looks a little too American to me. It would seem strange to some gamers to see the Romans represented similarly to the United States. That is not to say that the work isn't amazingly well done of course.

The Crooked Philosopher
We should be more careful with emblem, especially those use by Creative Assembly.

SDM
We should be more careful with emblem, especially those use by Creative Assembly.I don't think it would be a problem if we're just using them as references and inspiration as long as we're not directly copying from them.

NoMolester
I would go for the wolf for the part 1 romans and the eagle for the part 2 romans (wolf-Eagle means republic-empire).
niektb
This is a logo based on the wolf. Unfortunately it's currently used by a soccerclub. ;-)
Mythos_Ruler
We could just use a wolf's head on a shield or emblem, Starks of Winterfell-style.
