  1. I agree, but at slow speed as nani suggested. I see a mod coming up.
  2. You can give me a list of mods that you want me to fix. Also can you enable me to post on balancing threads as they seem to be limited to Devs and advisors only, but perhaps I can direct them to a mod that I already made to test their ideas. I can manage the technical bit with mods but I don't have any artistic tast as seen in my blueberries, so still need artists for models and icons.
  3. It must be some Nescio patch that did not clean well. This type of bug is often cause by wrong reference or directory. Basically misplaced XML files or typo
  4. This sort of bug is normal. Programmers upload onto SVN without rigourous testing, so don't depend on it for actually playing, it is used just for dev.
  5. I have the A23 Terra Magna downloaded, which contains some ready made zapotec civ. I believe I can convert that into an A25 civ on its own after some editing. If Lopess and Lion Kanzen can handle the Mayans and Zapotecs that would be great. I will keep working on Aristeia, which is a difficult task. If you guys can't then I can give you a hand where I can.
  6. @Lion.Kanzen @wowgetoffyourcellphone You might want to check if this works well. I haven't done intensive testing on it yet. Changes: 1. Deleted some useless and mistake-containing javascript files. 2. Corrected a reference to infantry_spearman_hoplite which does not exist, so instead I make all hoplite units a child of infantry_spearman. 3. Deleted some buggy female citizen templates and used the default template of A25.
  7. The Theban Greeks A25 version is ready! Thebans A25.zip This might be incompatible with A24. I need someone to test this.
  8. debug mode? Do I need to rebuild my 0AD? I have dropped development for A24 and switched to A25.
  9. @wowgetoffyourcellphone what is GL error? I was trying to add a new civ.
  10. Ok @wowgetoffyourcellphone. U take care of theban and I will let lion kanzen get models. Meanwhile I sort out aristeia and Zapotec I believe Stan has Han covered, and Scythians are in your DE
  11. How much metal cost? 300? Should I cost stone as well? Stone is so plentiful in A24.
  12. Of course @soloooy0. I will make the mod for you. I would appreciate it if you can provide the model. Otherwise I will just use a brit javelineer as the model.
  13. I think this is a great idea, reza-math, I approve as a fellow physicist. ; ) I will make a mod that increases the cost and sets number limit on these camps. But on the other hand they can't make sneaky siege anymore, so maybe they are not so OP. Also garrisoning dudes inside = idle time, so I am not sure many players will spam it. Valihrant tried to spam it and the strategy did not work. Also this is an issue about A24, not A22 right?
  14. I am guessing you are talking about doing some adaptation on A25 SVN? Sorry I am no good at Spanish. I can implement wall length into thorfinn mod as well. Please can you use that? I can't use SVN because school ban.
  15. What do you think if I give Britons a chariot with detachable riders who can be swordsmen? I have already made this unit in another mod. But I guess we can have many different chariots for different purposes: a melee chariot, a javelin chariot and an archer chariot.
  16. There used to be some very good mods back in A23 that enriched our 0AD gaming experience, but sadly these mods are no longer compatible with A24 and the upcoming A25, which is why I am starting a project to make these mods compatible with A24, A25 and later releases. Personally I am taking on Judeans mod and working on Aristeia mod, but there are many more A23 mods to be transformed. I need volunteers to help me, because I don't think I can manage the whole list of tasks on my own. List of A23 Mods (not exhaustive): 1. Random civ selection groups (functional) 2. Show available housing (functional) 3. Castle Blood (new game mode) 4. Cartography (functional) 5. No violence (functional) 6. Utility Any IP (functional) 7. City builder (New game mechanics) 8. Tower Defence (New game mode) 9. Special builder (New game mechanics) 10. Community map 11. Technology tree (New game mechanics) 12. Borg expansion pack (most of it is quite similar to A24) 13. Age of 0AD (New game mode and mechanics) 14. Terra Magna (new civ) 15. Millenium AD (new civ) 16. Ponies Ascendant (new civ, new mechanics) 17. Formation fighting mod. (new mechanics) 18. Faction-Specific resources. (new mechanics) 19. Aristeia (new civs, new theme) Here are some A24 mods that have been spotted to be incompatible (directly) with A25: Thebans Pretty much all of my mods Autociv by nani The reason why these mods expire is there is a minor file hierarchy system change, causing the modloader and civloader to be unable to find necessary template xml files. The solution is often to rename certain files and move them across some folders. You may look at the public.zip for the current version as a guidance. Since 0AD is very modular we can easily swap out corrupt files and slot in fixed files and rename them. I will be prioritising the civ mods because I am better at editing civ tree xml files than javascript files. If I find more mods to edit I will list them here.
  17. @wowgetoffyourcellphone I fixed your bugs in the mod and here is the fixed version. The problems I found were: 1. Mod is labelled for A25 but it is actually for A24. Solution: edit mod.json so that it becomes A24 mod. 2. Stoa is an empty building which does nothing. Solution: delete it. I have done the above two points already, but I have not played them nor used the scenario editor. Please peer review this: theban_greeks-master.zip
  18. Also, @Lion.Kanzen, the theban mod is said to be A24 on the forum but defined as A25 in the mod.json file but the file heirachy within is still A24... You might need to fix that, or I fix it later. Seems like the best solution is we all switch to A25 dev now, if it will be released in less than a year.
  19. This is he partially fixed file. It is playable on A24 but with many errors and very few units. I can't even defeat sandbox Seleucid AI with these dudes. judeans-master partially fixed by Yekaterina.zip
  20. I have partially fixed the Judeans for A24. It is somewhat playable (assuming you don't want to win). Dear @Lion.Kanzen, the biggest problem here is a lack of planning. Only some units have models and there is a general lack of models for advanced rank and elite rank. This civ also has no siege weapons nor a location to train hero from, which is very concerning. I suggest you re-plan the civ and re-design the structure tree, then I will fix it according to your plan. If you can't provide actors and props then I can borrow stuff from Seleucids, Persians and Ptolemies for now. Here are some screenshots to illustrate how ridiculous they are right now. Many props are missing.
  21. May I ask why we cannot keep the same file hierarchy? Each time the template files are just renamed and moved to a different subfolder, but I don't think this affects the engine, nor the actual gameplay mechanics.
