thorfinn.zip Done. Added marthon tech to Athenians in the gym, which increases champion speeds by 20%. Swapped Macedonian crossbow and oxybeles. Bug fixes.

They look identical to Romans and are based on the Roman template ; ) I feel like Hannibal Barca a bit too OP right now. Maybe we should give this to Hasdrubal or Marhabal. -

@maroder I found a little bug in your mod: you are missing the icons for the CC upgrades. By default you get 3 purple blocks. I fixed it by copying 3 copies of the default civic centre icon into the correct folder, and everything works smoothly now. If you want different icons to represent different upgrade routes just send me the images and I will implement it for you. Well done! maroder fixed.zip -
Ok Stan. I guess we went off a tangent in Profanity thread. What do you think about this star trek cheat unit? Maybe we can add a star trek civ which 'existed' around 0AD. Vulcans, especially Surak was active around that time.

This thing offers both hack and pierce. Considering Vulcan strength, I would say 17 hack, 10 crush?

Surak lived approximately 50BC-200AD Remember Vulcans can live up to 300 years. A Vulcanoid civ would be interesting; each Vulcan equals 3 humans in strength and had near-modern tech at the time, so to balance we can make them cost a lot.

We might as well get Romulans and Vulcans. Surak was present at around 200 AD and that's when Romulan Star Empire was founded.

Very good idea. Which civ should be give it to? Or do we create a new Klingon civ based on Kahless (who lived at around what would have been 400AD on Earth)

You like Star Trek as well? I was almost unfriended by some Star Wars fans when they saw me watching Star Trek. I don't know why but they seem a bit too extreme for me. There is nothing wrong in liking any one or both of the shows.

Sorry I don't know what Frank's are as I don't play AoE. But sure, maybe make citizen soldiers gather at 75% of women and make women good miners. -
We seem to be going off topic here. My main point is that players can name themselves anything that is not directly offensive to some people. For example 'JustusIsNub' is unacceptable but 'StarTrekBest' is ok. Names of political parties are also ok because if you think from the perspective of Romans, the guy called Carthage is unacceptable.

I think we need to encourage the use of dedicated soldiers and prevent the use of citizen soldiers as an economic tool. Any army should be an expense, not profit. -

Another solution: citizen soldiers offer very weak attack, champions offer huge attack. Meanwhile make champions cheaper, so the army would be half champions and half citizen soldiers. -
