I think a good start would be to create a sub forum for Stella Arts with 3 topics each for your faction -Human -(Protoss)? and the -( Zerg)?. I suggest a 4 faction/civ/race development being initially focused on two and later on + two factions. (We can add a pseudo "Xel'Naga", I think it could have a totally unique gameplay, few extremely strong units, having only one cc/temple like structure and its updates and updates being done on each unit individually.)

Maybe in the future you will consider posting these images in topic on furum, for sure some artist will be interested in helping to create this mod (I'm researching how to view these files with .pur, I saw that it's an image compression but I can't see them. )

Really a lot would be different, maybe on vacation I think of something, it certainly won't be something very close. The idea of Stella Artis (StarCraft) is very good, maybe what is missing is a little more conceptual art and more direct lines, kind of if someone is willing to do something they will be a little lost in what to do, for example which civs, which structures will be available etc.

If I had time I would definitely make a mod based on the WH 40k something like Dawn Of War (1). With 4 starting civs. With the Humans together in one initially. How different should it be to not fall under copyright?

Existing mods, maybe something cool to back up with ideas or 3d/textures. https://github.com/0ADMods/pyrogenesis-1861 https://github.com/0ADMods/pyrogenesis-1944 https://github.com/0ADMods/stella_artis

Civilization Proposal: Arabs/ Rashidun Caliphate/ Umayyads
Lopess replied to Mega Mania's topic in 1,000 A.D.

Nice advances with 3d models, I believe it's a correct choice for you on texture. I believe they are at a level compatible with Millenium AD. -
Interesting points, just remembering that it's not versions yet, it's a work in progress let's say this would be the mod's "first viable product" What would it be : "but if you can make the women soldiers then it's not the ñaaaa I don't love it."

I'll add the mobile fortress in Xiongnu:(https://github.com/0ADMods/xiongnu) mod we can see how it behaves and if there are things that can be improved in the model. Feel free to give your opinion. One of my doubts is whether it should come with an entire garrison inside, or (my favorite) just a few archers (imagine the wagon drivers) and as you garrison archers they'll move into vacant seats.

The link is broken.

I believe that there is no mechanic for this at the moment in the game, I believe that currently it is easier to train a set of 6 carts that go together, and when the fortress is assembled it becomes fixed in place.
-
Initially it was, but now it's just a single structure, if necessary I'll add some eyecandy.

For a start it was very good congratulations! Try texturing with some texture present in the game and then put in a personal mod with your creations. (If you want of course )

Offtop(There is also evidence of javelineers with incendiary arrows also from the year 900 -1100 I believe that the tactic was common but it was not something of note or something reserved for the lower social classes). Tomorrow I will return to Xiongnu mobile fortress. we have a lot of props to take advantage of.

Could you give some details on this point. What textures do you find problematic?
-
"The female citizens don't seem to have anything indicating the player color. This may be confusing I guess." Good notes, regarding unit textures, we are hoping to finalize all textures and after that unit colors will be implemented. "Why is there a castro and a fortress? Is that not the same?" In this case it will be a special structure, Duileoga can give you more information.

Proposal, Mayan City States [preclassic and classic]
Lopess replied to Lion.Kanzen's topic in Rise of the East

Extra concepts are always welcome, I only have my weekends free so far and they are quite busy, I still have the defense towers that should be more decorated. In December I will have vacations, it will still be quite busy but at least the night period will be calmer and so I can help more with Umayyads, as well as a revamp of my Mayan mod and help to the Zapotecs, and the Lusitanians of @Duileoga. -
This camp was very good to congratulate, it reminds me how much it is possible to create new structures using only existing elements. You can create a separate mod with this mechanic, if we think about it there should be an interesting diplomatic mechanic for several civs already present in 0ad, to which in the future you can add them too.

Proposal for a banner for the Zapotecos. ( I'm still researching more technologies. ) 61968-Texto del artículo-4564456557126-2-10-20181119.pdf

Other features that can be considered. Military organization with the insignia of officers who would help organize the battlefield and formations. Fire attacks against enemy structures. In addition to protecting battle uniforms, they had strong ritual and psychological value.
