  5. Yep i'm on it, i feel the same i'm looking wich texture can be tweaked for have the orange look it feels like a wonder but after looking grey it reminds me how is everything turning grey in here:
  6. Yes, 32k missing some garden meshes but they have a size of less than 200kbs so around 34k-33k
  7. now i see why i remember i saw one with textures but i found this at public : Maybe with deep and carefull look could be optimized around 2 or 3k more, but right now i'm like let it bee for a while, maybe some year an alpha could be dedicated to clean every building non seen faces if everyone with blender knowledge agree.
  8. i can only imagine the colosseum reaching the feets of the hagia sophia poly amount since both has several arcs and curves wich are the most poly consuming and the one the game has is somehow simple at first look wich doesn't give the impression or feeling as a wonder

Maybe for gameplay configuration wonders should only be built 1 per faction, for example there is 4 byzantines in one game only the 1st one on built it could have it the others should destroy it or capture it to have it too. Not even with AoE2 i can imagine people built dozen of wonders neither the same one since players are just hyped by factions some time and then play another i just can't imagine people building 10+ hagia sophia on a map for have huge lag + the amount of buildings of trees sometimes player don't even built them so is just like having 3 wonders or 2 in a single mesh wich isn't a big risk compared to the 50k - 43k
  11. @Skhorn maybe you can see some props on the atlas for fit this gaps, better to fill those gapps before release or we could end having units attacking those empty zones
  12. around 28k before breaking some faces specially windows, it breaks the uv's but seems that can be fixed.

  14. Yes but nothing much can be done, just with the lego bricks and domes the mesh started to have 20k+ the amount of domes, circular shapes and windows are the ones with more amount of tris.
  15. About 50k or less haven finished yet deleting the non seen faces nor adjusting the uv's. Did a test on atlas and crash if the mesh is a single object with 50k tris, but as separated meshes as it will be it loads fast as usual:

  17. I Agree, i will need to make the 2 left stables and each faction archery range/workshop for alpha 24 in any case so isn't needed to have it now for this release

If gameplay desing is the main objective then you need to see what others RPG has that RTS don't for example Warcraft 3 Heroes gameplay, Spellforce Hero gameplay, Mount and blade Bannerlord Siege gameplay combat, you need to leave the basic RTS Schema behind thats what 0AD already has, you need to focus on the players who likes the big RPG Games but like to have those features in a mass battle management game, imagine Skyrim with the 0 AD scale or like the mod Hyrule conquest, he brought the zelda series to a massive scale of RTS and before releasing his mod he already has a big public awaiting for every faction and update because Total War is just a game for controling infantry and not buildings, people thinks 0 AD is a free copy of AoE 2 but 0 AD has left behind in visual and unit desing AoE some time ago, now is time to leave that gameplay desing behind if the game want to achieve his own potential and go for a new RTS public, some examples are the mods Delenda Est and 0 ABC wich has another gameplay features but the game base per se is what people feels a copy of AoE and thats need to be fixed before avancing to Beta phase. Imagine 0 Ad controling not just an infantry spearman but a Citizen soldier and later you choose what you want him to be, Spearman, Swordsman, Slinger, Skirmisher, Cavalryman, Archer etc, cities burning when attacking. Cavalry dismount needs to be for get rid of the same AoE Schema, Siege weapons needs to be stationary and have a better visual impact of firing slow reload, fast shot, fast projectile speed and spawn dust at the hitspot not flames, and disable rotation for the big ones seeing those big turrets turn around like if they had some kind of rotatory base is just wrong sometimes, for scorpios are ok but for the big Ballista seems wrong.
  19. @wackyserious i may need a texture similar to the dome but rectangular for make the other roofs maybe you and lion could get something while i end with the details of the building
  20. Last time i played against them they just builded stables all around the map, like a normal Petra building fortress but this ones just build stables they ended with around 35+ stables in the other isle of Corsica vs Sardinia.
