Capture mechanic's could be related to specific buildings only: Military: Fortress, Towers, Gate's. Civilian: Civ Center, Wonders, Temples. Other structures should have a territory dependency like houses could be automatically captured if a city civ centre is captured. In that way, city siege could have two objectives: Destroy everything at glance. Capture primordial structures to take over the city if the defenses aren't prepared enough to defend the city avoiding turtling. Capturing fortress could gather small area of effect over the nearby buildings. Capturing city could have strong area of effect of nearby buildings.

With the proper feets rendered i can now see how to animate properly the leg position, also for more "smoothness" is recomennded to have a small transition from idle to walk, so it may be similar to walk position early frames, to have less visual impact at the transition, but will use your green screen video to adjust the idle and then we could be much closer to review to add for A29.

@wowgetoffyourcellphonegameplay wise, chicken can be gathered only once and carried by the legs so i make one animation of carrying_chicken/rabbit ? Small source of food but fast to get making chicken's a good hunting source to find around the maps by making them a reason to explore the enviroment early game.

i always wanted to sculpt a lion to replace current one wich is basically ugly. maybe i will use some of those as source to make my own, not to use them since i could bake directly and need an specific field of view to properly bake.

I could try to sculpt but i don't have that much time, i would like to. but no time. Having procedural textures is better so you can batch bake multiple textures variations at once.

bobbing head like pidgeons? sure! for multiple texture baking you just need to make another variation of the mesh (duplicate mesh) add a new material so your uv's doesn't get lost, and use another reference (picture) and adjust the uv's to the new reference for bake variations if its possible.

27 whitout IK's will manage to bake those actions whitout IK'S 4 ik legs (Maind and poles) 1 Ik Head also will try to bake the leg as a front render with a mesh to avoid blurry diff

i've keept reading the forum everytime i have the opportunity, glad to see the Xiongnu structure meshes served a bigger purpose than a nomadic faction haha! would be good if you import all the vegetation of hellenic structures and port them to your new meshes. Thats how i've made the Byzantine wonder garden,.

Good to see you back working a lot @wackyserious. Quick tip: the whole structure is very good, only thing you will need later wich was a difficult task since its kinda complicated start adding random handplace vegetation around, is add with props bushes and moss over the walls or hanging moss on the watchtower to mix the building with the enviroment. Keep it up!

With the new alpha 24 release, I can download it and work with it at least for testing purposes. I'm using a neighbor connection, thought is shared between 3 houses and the connection sometimes get very awfully. Besides working more than 8 hours pero day. At least with the work I've managed to buy my laptop another 4gb ram and managed to get stable blender working environment with 8gb and also a keyboard and not messing around my laptop keyboard. Sometimes in the night I read the forum but can't answer when the signal is poor. ( literallly the page never load the reply box). Hope continue working soon. -

Maybe an special unit fast but weak to infiltrate on the enemy base and torch it, like an "always running" citizen able to torch barracks, houses, civic centers, farmlands, stables, but not walls, towers and defensive buildings. if ability with cd were implemented. i thought on this because a reference drawing of an early ancient desertic civilization that was posted about a year ago. -
Merry Christmas everyone! PD: I Have internet shared but had been really slow since december started. My repo copy its broken and need to be updated and never loads by tortoise due to 10kbps downlad . Hopefully i could get it working soonish.
