  1. Do you have a 512x512 copy of the original skin tone? The one that I recovered from 0ad source had cropped parts on the upper arm area. Left: Skin tone that I use Right: Adjusted to the skin tone that you have uploaded
  2. @Sundiata Did the common warriors worn hides from nonaggressive animals such as domestic animals like cattle and wild animals like zebras and giraffes? If so, I would use giraffe, zebra, cattle/horse/etc and elephant hides for skirt variations.
  3. If that is so, I have to change the animal hide in one of the textures, I used giraffe skin for it.
  4. @Sundiata Any particular details which are inaccurate in the textures? Particularly in the loin cloth and its tassel.
  5. @wowgetoffyourcellphone Spec maps should will only be applied in the areas where the skin is exposed right? By looking at the sampe spec maps, does it mean that (black = not affected by spec map?)
  6. @Sundiata Which animal hides did they used for clothing? I am also impressed on how you gather and present your data.
  7. I am eager to test the Kushite faction in DE, I'm trying to work on some textures for the Kingdom of Kush
  8. @stanislas69 What is the attach point for the new quivers? Seax is slightly hovering (floating) over the mesh
  9. Some sort of library, similar to the Hellenistic factions?
  10. I agree with @Sundiata, zooming is the good tool to overview all battlefields, cities, how they look like. Also I don't like many player's colors on units/building, it looks too cartoonly and oddly. I've never met topic restrictions with visualizations, usually I have selected units in a battle, to see what's happening. Also zoom out isn't bad for mircoactions, because you could control the greater number of units/building (what I do usually) and see the danger faster. My opinion is also in parallel with these two guys.
  11. Make sure to use skeletal/new/m_armor_tunic_short.dae Armor mesh also looks good on tunic4, tunic5 and tunic6
  12. I was thinking of recreating these belts. I will try to make one soon. http://www.hellenicarmors.gr/products.php?pageId=16&lang=EN
  13. @wowgetoffyourcellphone I believe that I have included everything in the zip (I have also included some of the outdated textures in the zip, the colorful linothorax variants are in there) Download: 072717 - Unit Textures.rar
  14. I added more player colors because the game required unit visibility.
  15. Basic tunics comes in three variations (Light toned, regular and dark toned)
  16. Finalizing some of the stuff that I've made these past weeks. Hoping it will make it before @wowgetoffyourcellphone releases DE, so that it can be tested in the mod.
  17. This article mentioned that the rear ranks worn either a petasos (wide brimmed hat or straw hat) or a kausia cap http://www.ancient.eu/article/676/
  18. Should the basic rank pezhetairoi (foot companions) change their garbs to hellenistic tunics and the kausia cap?
  19. The article about the the Macedonian phalanx in Wikipedia, also states that the successor phalanges where more heavily equipped and had longer sarissas (5 meters vs. 7.5 meters) in order to counter the opposing phalanx formation of other successor kingdoms. This sacrificed the mobility of the predecessor Macedonian phalanx. The article cited Polybius' The Histories in the references. Although the article also had citations that lacked references. For example, the article states that Plutarch compared the 5 meter sarissa and the 7.5 meter successor sarissa, giving his point of view that the longer ones are heavier and drained the stamina of the users even more The article also stated that according to Livy, the successor phalanges where hardly capable to turn around, comparing it to the previous Macedonians phalanx, citing the Battle of Guagamela as an example.
  20. "Ancient Macedonian soldiers, from the tomb of Agios Athanasios" Estimated to be dated around 4th century BC https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ancient_Macedonian_soldiers,_from_the_tomb_of_Agios_Athanasios,_Greece.jpg
  21. @wowgetoffyourcellphone What about the length of the Hellenistic tunics? Did the tunics remained short during that period? (m_tunic_short vs m_tunic_long mesh) If the tunics were still short, then I will have to re-adjust the textures of the Diadochi Greek settlers
