Do not upload the ones that I made, those are outdated. The current source file has undergone a lot of change.

I do not want to open a new task yet, since I'm already working on least 5 tasks at the moment. Maybe after we finish working with the Celts and the Greeks. -

Also, according to the design document, they should be wielding the longsword single-handed while wielding a shield on their other hand. A quick search online about the Kirkburn mail tunic, most of the samples found in illustrations and reconstructions depict the kirburn mail tunic as something very similar to what the Republican Roman army have copied to their Celtic neighbors.

It has a clasp, I forgot unhide the layer for the clasp. Regarding the torques, I agree with that.

Yes, will definitely use that when everything is settled/finalized

Or a combination? Elite spearman = Leather + Dark chainmail Elite swordsman or champion swordsman = Linothorax + Light chainmail Colorful/decorated linothorax can also be used for a specific unit type (Maybe this could be used by champions)
-
What if one type of unit will use leather armor, while the other unit types will use bleached leather or white linothorax and the other one will all use chainmail? Brown vs. White vs. Metal (Light gray to dark gray)
-
I reused the thorax part and the belt part (The belt will be very useful in other textures) The linothorax/chainmail .psd is has undergone a lot of progress. It will be a very useful art source for modders/devs alike.

@stanislas69 What is the material of this belt? Is this leather or metal?

@LordGood Here are the basic and advanced infantry textures. (I think I failed, current game texture for advanced spearman looks better, IMO ) 110517 - Celts (Basic and Advanced).rar

Yes, please. I might acquire some useful details from your previous work. Congratulations, also!

Total war depicted this armor as leather and padded cloth. I followed their design, I used bleached leather and brown leather. I will still edit the armor pteruges.

These are the textures which I submitted to wowgetoffyourcellphone several months ago for DE. I'm sometimes loosing details in the texture when I use the transparency for player color.
-
What I'm concerned with, regarding harmonious hues is how will I incorporate player color in it? I'm thinking of having a similar design to the current gaul_adv_spearman textures, with the top short sleeved tunic set to a plaid and the long sleeved under shirt set into player color.
-
I was looking at Hallstatt Period examples, I'll see what I can do with plaid patterns. If I cannot come up with a good one, I'll try to look for creative license compatible plaid patterns online.
