  2. Yeah, we should consolidate here which to include in the feature. Maybe place the longships at the bottom. Some sort of a teaser which represents the ships as a looming threat to the other factions.
  3. What about the faction emblem? Are we going to stick to this placeholder that I've made using Alexandermb's base shield textures?
  4. I'm waiting for the byzantine wall set commit so that I can take screenshots for the release article. The Byzantine faction will be the highlight and the other half of the article will be reserved for the Carolingians. So the article will cover the East with the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine empire) moving to the west towards the Proto Holy Roman Empire (Carolingian Empire)

  6. I think amendments could be done for this special release. Same with how the official game drops their naming method in order to facilitate the special release.
  7. Lower one for standard skirmish walls, taller ones reserved for Atlas (Or implement a wall/wall tower upgrade for the Byzantines which will replace the lower walls with the taller ones upon upgrade)
  8. Yeah, so we would go for Greek? As Latin was already in a state of decline in the Byzantine empire during the 8th century onwards, if I remember it correctly.
  9. Some trees for the tenements could also do the trick, so that it would also match the tree props used in the plaza and the civic centre.
  10. A possibility for part II I myself have wanted to mess up with Sengoku period unit textures for a Japanese faction. But at the moment we still have a lot to complete.

  13. We must follow the color palette of the Theodosian walls. The dominant color must be a light colored brick. Plus the red brick must be thinner than lighter bricks and the sections it occupies must be thinner too compared to the rest of the sections. (Or this could vary per building) I think those plastered/repaired sections should be introduced as props. A combination of meshes and alpha-channel texture materials.
  14. @wolflance What material is the lamellar made of? Was it standard to paint it black?
  15. Only problem I see is making textures seamless I believe Lion posted a tutorial on how to make seamless textures. I cannot prioritize terrain textures at the moment.
  16. I haven't messed with that directory yet, where can I find the brush textures? You are pertaining to those right? Not the actual terrain textures?
  17. @Alexandermb The swordsman coif does not seem to extend on the nape area of the neck when using the relax shield stance which is the default variant set in the actor file
  18. Changed it to player color and also added the feathers on the top. The references had feathers.
  19. Can you add those houses with domed second floor to the house set? Domes needs to be prominent in the theme.
