@Alexandermb Could you also add variants of the helmets that don't have cheek flaps, decorative hair/plume and nape guards. It could be useful for basic and advanced rank units.
-
Add the upper part (chainmail) of the coif too. I modified your helmet textures. I am thinking of adding player color to the hollow part/gaps on the top part of the helm. I'm just not sure if the Byzantines of the period continued the practice just like their Hellenistic age ancestors. Tagging some history buffs for opinions. @wowgetoffyourcellphone @Nescio

The obstructions of the new houses seems to be not right. There should be a tiny gap between houses and it should not fully connect. Fully conjoining house entities should be done in Atlas for Scenarios, in my opinion
-
So, it will make a lot of clutter in the directory if we do that. It will need a separate folder in the simulation files. Plus it has to be made indestructible and not affected by territory
-
What if we add obstructions to actor files? I believe that is possible, I've asked about that before, I'm just unsure how to properly implement it.

Which among the three is most significant with relevance to the current factions? Might include them after working with the Umayyads.
-
@Lion.Kanzen They will be included. The current state of the mod depicts that it somewhat highlights the Viking Age. Just like how the Romans and Carthaginians are clustered together in the game to clash each other. Likewise with the Spartans, the Athenians and the Persians and lastly, the Successor states. It just a matter of coming up with something that is cohesive.
-
A century up or before the timeframe can be considered. A cohesive relation between the factions/heroes would be great. Like how the Carolingians fought the Umayyads, the Norse raided the Umayyads, and the Anglo-Saxons also struggling with the Norse, just like the Franks and Umayyads.
-
Maybe someone who's a contemporary of the heroes from the other faction. Or at least from a nearer decade or century. Anglo-Saxons Alfred the Great Offa of Merica Carolingians Charlemagne Norse Erik the Red Hastein Ivar the Boneless Tagging @Nescio for advice or suggestions.
-
We have no idea who to include. Maybe the community can discuss it and help us choose whom to include

@LordGood Thanks a lot! Scaled it to 96x96 then patched it together to form a 512x512. It was used on the ones wearing long byrnie(s). Normals not yet applied. Only spec.

No, I mean the date of the beginning of the academic year, traditionally it was on June, but recent amendments in our law moved it to August. Due to the months of June and July being the peak period of the tropical rainy season in our country.
-
I still have the whole month of May to work on things here. If the start of the academic year will be moved in our country, as it was mandated. Then I can still work on full time until the final weeks of July.
-
Another issue we need to address is the clipping of the new coif meshes and the existing capes in the game. A oval lenticular shield mesh was also created by Alexandermb. Will try to create shield textures when I get back home later.

Earth-tone ones, including the base texture that you made could be used for lesser ranked units (maybe the elite rank spear cavalry?) I'll add additional tones, like dark brown and a lighter one. White cloth and player color can be bundled together.
-
Things are starting to be very(very) medieval.. @Alexandermb Should I commit this player color alterations?
-
@Alexandermb Armor for mount or for the rider? I have just committed the Byzantine faction. You can sync the recent changes, add the armor then commit it.
