So, at the moment we have two champion units for the Carolingians. Royal Companion Cavalry (Schola Palatina) Royal Companion Infantry (Schola Palatina) Clergy can now also be trained at the church
-
So how can I restrict the caro_cavalry_archer to be only trainable at the fortress?
-
Should we give them a ranged siege weapon? A ballista? An onager? Or a trebutchet?
-
Added cavalry archers in my latest commit.
-
Even the Athenians has a wide range of champion units. Athenian Epibates (Marines) Ephilektoi (Champion hoplite) Thureophoroi Scyhtian archers Thracian swordsmen

CAROLINGIANS (Unit portraits) Carolus Magnus of Francia The Imperial Army
-
The current simulation file for Charlemagne uses Alexander the Great's auras. Imperialism and Conqueror This was commited just now, btw.
-
Some vegetations, yes and props too. At the moment the faction structures are too plain.

We will have to reorganize the spear cavalry actor files. Maybe the current advanced rank variations should become the elite rank and the former elite variations will be used in the new champion cavalry variations.
-
Can you commit that horse armor and its actors and simulation files. Carolingians should definitely have a Champion cavalry.
-
@Alexandermb @stanislas69 Should I commit the new Carolingian structure texture?
-
Add shields too, just like in the Norse towers
-
I will have to tweak the shadows again, I accidentally merged the layers
-
Yeah, no spec and norm yet
-
Why did you created a new stone texture? The old one for the school and the wonder is good already. That new stone looks nice as a replacement for the grey one though. I tweaked it a bit and also reduced the saturation of the warm toned wattle and daub wall texture.
-
What about this one? I moved the roof texture per column, each one 5 spaces up and alternate to create irregularities. The same concept was done to the shadows.

Do you have any reference that I could use?

This faction can be started and use Roman or Greek buildings for placeholder

@Nescio @Sundiata Can you help us determine the names of the Frankish helmets?
