I think it is very clear that I do not disagree with the rules. i am saying it is not at all clear what the punishments and more imprtantly the level of infraction necessary for various punishment from the tos and eula. "break rules = can'tplay here" is not very precise. It allowa ambiguus and arbitrary punishment for infraction.I am simply suggesting that you make the eula and tos more precise in this thing so that your base is covered. If I call someone a whitey is that as bad as the others? Who makes the determination and how many times can i say this? is limey as bad as some others? How many partial bans triggers a permaban? Are there guidelines for redress? None of that is in there, so you make it up as you go or what? Why are my suggestions controversial. They should not be. If you ever finish the game you may have thousands of players playing at once. Best to solve these things now instead of then.
  2. I hope they keep the small houses (like the Britons and Iberians) and just get a bigger market like you suggest. i like the design of the current market so maybe it can be expanded bit?

Actually I meant that the "small" 5 pop houses for "barbarians" give different gameplay than the "big" 10 pop houses for most of the "imperial" civs. I cannot believe that this was not deliberate, and changing it just because someone wants to have bigger house models seems odd. Thwe pop bonus for houses and other buildings is meta, not realistic anyway.
  4. I have been on the lobby. But I am just advising course of action to make things easier for you and more clear for people who may intentionally or unintentionally break the rules. Clear guideline for punishments are a good thing for both users and moderators. It is funny that you resist this.
  5. I urge you to stick to a specific "look" for each culture and to not dilute.
  6. i think you should first get a nice looking stance with the armature/body. The firing animation should not have the unit moving from ready to attack. Should juyst be attack. Any transition between states should be handled in a different way not yet in the game. That's why i post video of the girl shooting bow. I like her confident strong stance (regardless if she is using a full draw or short draw).
  7. This is fine, but no clear list of punishments and arbitrations. That is what I am talking about. The EULA and TOS are incomplete and leave room for too much ambiguous.
  8. I'd use the better cypress trees as props. I think enrique made them. I have not updated yet to see if you use prop points or not for the trees.
  9. temple already heals units around it. Tho I think it would be cool in desert maps to have "healing springs" like what he says. just a couple per map. they would be gaia.
  10. The square bases are definitely from roman period. I do like the "ropey" texture of the columns tho. See, I would keep overall Greek style, but with eastern "touches" like the ropey texture on the columns and Persian rugs (though I would not put rugs on a temple lol).
  11. are you sure that you wish the official wfg lobby's rules to be arbitrary? having a hard set of rules makes moderating easier, not harder. This is your choice though.
  12. That is pretty cool. I like the hanging banners (perhaps these can be player color). I'd get rid of the rugs. Also, the columns should be more accurate. Also, there are much better cypress trees in the game now I think.
  13. Should implement a half-way feature called a "shadow ban." The offender can still play and even "send" chat, but his chats are actually muted to all players, in the game and in the lobby. Length of shadow ban can be determined by moderator or by a set of rules determined by the wfg team. In fact, I encourage the team to come up with a set of rules and guidelines for the various forms of punishments usable by the moids. Racism 1st offense, 2nd offense, last offense, etc.
  14. Interesting. I thought the ai was already dynamic and used classes. I was having trouble with the ai not building farms, but then I realized that I took the "Struct" class away from farms (for technology reasons) and this messed up the ai so they didnt buold them. I added "struct" back to the classes of the farms and the ai started building them again.
  15. The general shapes look good. I think though that houses would not havwe the ornaments on the roofs. They make them look chinese to me. I also think the wood color is too pink.
  16. Why is this a poll question? Should not the art lead determine direction of the game's art and ultimately the quality of the work?
  17. I have added the Thebans to my mod for those with the link and who wish to try them out. They are about 98% done. All I need to do is change the hero actors to be more unique, make a rally flag texture, edit some of the unit actors (change helmets, shields, etcc) and hmm, maybe a few more unique technologies (I am taking suggestions here). They have a siege workshop like the Macedonians, but unlike the Macks they have the fire raiser siege weapon I found in the game. I changed it a bit to work better too, kind of like a iberians fireship. Thebans get the Sacred band hoplite and Thespian black cloaks already in the game. The one unique tech I have for them so far is "Boeotarch" which greatly improves hero health. After I complete the Thebans I will try to add prop placements for the rest of the Fortresses. I may call for help in scripting to make only range infantry show up when garrisoned.
  18. It seems obvious that her draw is a quick draw for close enemies. But it is still a good animation.
  19. I agree. Maybe have a Ptolemaic temple variation that is Greek. Also, isn't the military colony supposed to eventually look Greek (instead of like a mercenary camp)?
  20. Still many ways to make them Greek, but look with many differences than the current greeks.
