Morale can be considered an abstraction of armor or maximum health. It is an abstraction, any psychological state is represented by the stats of the units.

That is another discussion that I had raised. If it is fire damage you are right, I have raised it myself several times and I am not the only one. I already mentioned several times units that commit arson by burning buildings and start to dying in the attack. Technically, work is being done on fire damage and on expanding that damage.

I'm not saying your ideas are bad, just that they need some consideration and research. You should gain more experience by playing more games and also by living life. I understand that you want to implement catapults, you must use your imagination to immerse yourself in what that era was like and what was being done. For example I consider that 0AD should have a suicide unit that does damage as in other strategy games. Example suicide units that do damage to buildings, that idea is from SC2 (Bannelings) and the Petards from AoE II plus the Slaves from Stronghold.

Why not include Babylon and Assyria and cover the period after the Bronze Age collapse. After the fall of Solomon's kingdom in Israel. That's when Assyria, Egypt, Kush and Babylon have a good time tearing each other apart. Not to mention that it could cover the Etruscan s in Italy. A thousand years seems exaggerated to me, I would put 800BC-800AD.

The problem is that this guy is thinking only about Towers walls and fortress and is not thinking about the civic center and its economy (women villagers) being destroyed by this implementation. Because this mean you just do a Rush to the fields where the women are and GG. the CC will not be able to keep the villagers alive.

I think it would be a good idea to record videos of how certain strategies are developed in the game.

They should play Stronghold It's basically siege castles. literally hours of siege, hence my desire to add more siege techniques to the game and more fire damage. You would have to lower the armor of the towers, it's very op but keep the wall and fortresses.

this makes better sense. limit it to start at 0 and add +1(attack) then x2(arrows) damage and then increase by 50%.

I plan to make an inferior or simpler adaptation based on the DE concept. then this version would be Mercenary camp fortified. a more difficult version to capture.
