  1. Last update I saw was last week for the git migration so hopefully slowly but steady. Regarding Trac the problem seems to be that someone is having fun taking it down. So hopefully Gitea won't have the same issue.
  2. If you use the biome files to place objects it's just a matter of editing those to use new textures by @wowgetoffyourcellphone

  4. We possibly have an undiagnosed OOS. To debug that we need the ooslogs of at least two players and the replays. I wonder if it happens if players do nothing for 30 minutes. Ideally we'd get one with 0 mods just to be sure.

  7. You can change the stats for all african elephants in that file binaries/data/mods/public/simulation/templates/mixins/elephant_african.xml
  8. Currently we don't pay anymore for the antispambot which is like an extra 100$ per year IIRC. As for fancy captchas, I'm not sure we can add them to the forum that easily, it's kinda of a packaged solution.
  9. Replays work too. Interestinglog.html might help as well if you haven't restarted the game.
  10. Yeah that's the way. Unless USB sticks are prohibited. It would work in any case. Once you have installed 0 A.D. somewhere you can just move the folder as you please and run the game with -writableRoot. Just don't put it in somewhere requiring admin rights though e.g. program files or things might go wrong.
  11. Oh but it can be changed. It would just suck very much to have to move all the garrison flag positions to the templates Currently artists decide where the flags are, if we did that it would be on the template side. One upside might be that flags could be animated going up and down I suppose.
  12. Yes. Unlike rally points that are spawned by the simulation code, this is spawned by some different code that cannot take the current civ into account.
  13. You can't add dynamic GUI objects. You have to know how many you'll display, or at least have more on the page. I think colors have more than ten items.
  14. Pushed some fixes. There was an issue with registration. Still no emails as I'm not sure it's worse the hassle. We got a few replays yesterday which now total to 98.
  15. If you're gonna rename, maybe it's better to have an extra tag. It's handled by the Identity.js file.

  17. Currently templates are not reloaded until you restart the game. You can however use the modifiermanager component to add modifications at run time to specific units using JS. Kinda like fake techs. You can technically create new files using the engine, but the paths are restricted, so you might not be able to create the XML files. Another thing to have in mind is you cannot write in the public.zip mod so the files will probably end up in /Documents/My Games/0ad/mods/user or some analoguous path.   18. Fire is already in the game. As for balancing no. And for bb's activity I'd say no
  19. The question is not when but by who. Ideally we'd have bb' secondary attack, so that ranged units can attack with crappy melee weapons, and maybe we extend that to change weapons depending on target classes. As for fire itself we support it through status effects (e.g. maurya guard and iber cavalry)
  20. What didn't work ? There has been some work to put more back in the templates from json files, I believe in A27 the civ history tags are now in the templates. And that would basically undo that which isn't great. I believe @Freagarach wanted to get rid of the jsons eventually but I don't know more.
  21. For actors alt click should work. If it doesn't you need to edit the map XML
