  1. Sogdiana would be awesome, there are a few scenarios where Alexander is fighting them and currently I am just using Persians as a substitute. The Dahae would be good too, their horsemen rode alongside Alexander, currently I am using the Persian Horse archers to represent them. Capadocians appear in mission 11, any units unique to them would be great.

  4. https://direitasja.wordpress.com/tag/flechas-incendiarias/ At the time of discovery, the Tupi, as well as the South American tribes in general, had several ingenious methods of siege. 1. Incendiary arrows, 2. Movable and light walls that advanced towards the palisades. 3. Fires with pepper to scare away the besieged, using the wind in their favor.

  9. I think the best biome for 1v1 on mainland is Aegean. It has less wood, which makes controlling area more important. This map suits my taste sufficiently well, so I don't really bother trying the other maps, which am might have their issues. That also means I am not qualified to compare other maps to mainland or any other standard. Also, if you and your opponent have the APM then empire can be nice. If I wouldn't be interesting about learning more about how different strategies are executed well and work against each other on mainland, then I would consider empire very much worth my time.

  10. By the way, it is bad for historical accuracy. You can't gather a lot of fruit from a blossoming apple tree.

  11. On the scenario editor it can be found as gaia/fruit/apple I haven't tried anything successful with visuals, but I think it is just a case of giving each fruit template <VisualActor> <Actor>flora/trees/apple_bloom.xml</Actor> </VisualActor>

  14. This @Lopess Mayans at War: Unusual Weapons The Popul Voh, the book of the Kiche Maya, tells of hornets and wasps used as defensive weapons. When attackers came, defending warriors had gourds filled with hornets that they threw into the midst of the attackers. Hornets erupted out of the gourds and angrily attacked, killing many warriors. The defenders won the battle. https://www.historyonthenet.com/mayans-at-war

  15. Mayans at War: Long Distance Weapons The Mayans had both long-distance weapons and melee weapons. The long distance ones included bow and arrow, blowgun, slings and throwing spears. When the atlatl or spear thrower was brought to the Mayans from Teotihuacan around 400 A.D., it was quickly adopted and became the Mayans’ dominant long distance weapon. The atlatl greatly increased the accuracy, force and range of the spear; when thrown from an atlatl a spear reportedly could pierce the Spaniards’ metal armor. The blowgun was predominantly used for hunting, but it had some wartime uses as well. Mayan warriors used bow and arrows more during the Post-Classical era.

Necesito implementarla.

  21. @Lopess said in the mods we have enough units to supply any shortage with these military forces. I'll need to see what our campaign designer needs. We need Ethnic Persian units. Vassals from Satrapies. Like Sogdian, Phrygian, Hyrcanian, Phoenicians, Babylonian.

  22. Thanks for trying, by mistake I had uploaded the files in the wrong folder, they are now where they're supposed to be in the a25 branch: https://github.com/SciGuy42/Macedonia_0ad/tree/a25 Ignore the mission files in the root of the folder, I need to get rid of those. The correct files (up to 16) are in: https://github.com/SciGuy42/Macedonia_0ad/tree/a25/maps/scenarios Can you let me know if those work for you?

  25. What I had so far. I'm somewhat tied to her being hooked nosed, and the inbreeding might have gave her slight ugliness that can be hidden well enough with stylized bust, but I also realized that, she looks quite haggish here lol. Especially her jawlines which I havent touch well. I'll keep working on it, primarily trying to make her younger looking, but still had those unique atributes. I should've check this thread sooner and just use those 3d models that I'd liked as a base, since those are pretty much my ideal image of her. Incoporated some of that 3D render above into the ref and I think I'm on the right track and doesnt have to start anew, so this is the base. I just went with something basic of that Isis headress since that pic also had the ref on how to draw the shine. Thanks for the support so far.

  26. It would only benefit the techs at the CC, but it also keeps its old aura of the extra territory. Also I disagree with the idea that team bonusses should have synergy with all possible allies. Only 4 other factions have theatres, which is indeed on the low side. But it is still better than the current team bonus. I don't see any historical justification why Athenians should make buildings in iberia or India cheaper. In a world where each faction is unique, there is no such thing as being in line. Also it does not hinder siege in p2. I think siege in p2 is a bad idea, but I would not be opposed to trying out bad ideas. Though I can't try out any idea tossed towards me. Another possible civ bonus for Mace could be "can build siege workshops in neutral territory". That would also make Mace unique.
