Had the chance to take a look. 1. The major issue with the animations are that the legs and feet are splayed too far apart. Most animals, and I assume camels are the same, position their feet close to their centerline when walking, so that their legs come down at a slight angle [imagine a line drawn from the hip or shoulder of the leg down to where the feet meet the ground, it should be a slight angle inward toward the centerline, not completely 90 degrees]. The elephant animations are wrong in this way too. lol. 2. I like the kneeling it does when gathering meat! Good job. I only wish we could have transitional animations! 3. I think the death can be like 20% slower as they fall. 4. Would be nice to have a couple of different idle animations. Right now the camel looks rather bored. Would be hilarious if the camel chews the cud as it stands there. https://media.giphy.com/media/qYr8p3Dzbet5S/giphy.gif2 points

@stanislas69 Are you going to review the stuff you have on that repo? Would be cool to have some of this in game1 point

I would prefer not an entire set like a garden per se, but more variety of fences and flora. It's possible to achieve a beautiful garden with all of those separately, indeed it would be better as imagination can flow without the restriction of an already builded garden. Somehow like fences per faction. As i said once, it's wierd somehow to place stone fences on for example, a Mauryan city. But i think the most important, it's, does this land on a mod? Or in main game? If it land in a separate mod... IMHO, No. It tends to be more difficult to find or to keep track, maintainability and of course, sharing the map becomes more... difficult too1 point

Pity, I had hoped there would have been a partial file path that could give us some more clue =) Because I would guess that the most likely cause of the issue is that there is something which isn't 100% correct with the folders, maybe just one letter wrong in a folder name or something1 point

while possible it is a bit impractical to have the necklace on as an alpha prop. It would require extra geometry weighted exactly the same as the collar area of the mesh is to prevent it from glitching through the model itself.1 point

@wackyserious 1st tier swordsmen could start out with linen corselet, but if you prefer bare chest, that's also fine. Just thought of something: you could give him one of the variations of Wowgetoffyourcelphone's Blemmye tunic for the camel units. Would be nice to see some more of that. Maybe give him that wicker round shield LordGood made (but scale it down a bit to be the same size as the rhino hide shield.1 point

@Alexandermb actually did this for the camels and it looks great! I second this idea1 point

Would it be possible to give cavalry a (short) loop rein? Minor details such as this make the game more enjoyable, at least for some people. Closed reins are well attested throughout Eurasia (even for horse archers): Greece: Romans: Han China: Bactria: India:1 point

What's sting/clangor? Hack and Crush damage? Cool program though! Would be very useful. As far as siege differentiation, you're right, things could be made to be more different between civs. Though, IMHO, mostly that should be done with Civ Bonuses [which are limited to only a few per civ] and Technologies [where the player can choose how they want to differentiate their units based on current battlefield conditions]. The Roman bonus in siege is basically one of their civ bonuses.1 point

Please please, do not use player color like that. It is very inconsistent visually from other textures to do that. I'm talking about making the whole armor soft player color. I tried some of your Greek armor textures with all that player color all over the linothorax and it did not look good. It washed out a lot of detail.1 point

Can be nice for Conceptual art advertising.1 point

@Sundiata Nothing, thanks for your time! See you later1 point

Perhaps A could be Available Population and B could be Population Cap? In my experience 'pop cap' is the most commonly used phrase for B, so I think it may as well stay that way. It's not creative but I think it avoids confusion.1 point

Granted, but I think the Han would be a great addition to the main game since they were such a huge faction in the time period. Smaller civs like Thebans, maybe leave for mods.1 point
