Granted, but I think the Han would be a great addition to the main game since they were such a huge faction in the time period. Smaller civs like Thebans, maybe leave for mods.3 points

Here are the files for the archer and trader only at least for the public folder. Camel_New.7z @stanislas692 points

Yeah, I think the khopesh should be redone too. It has no thickness either, so edge-on it disappears. That's the Noble/Royal Archer. Probably rename to Kush_champion_infantry_archer2 points

As s0600204 mentioned above GitLab offers unlimited private repos with unlimited number of collaborators. GitHub IIRC offers private repos for students (probably by using some edu domain when registering), and one can access such repos without having such an account if one gets added to that. As for updating to a new version check out the current changelog which isn't complete or updated, but should get that at some point hopefully.2 points

There is a kushites repository here -> https://github.com/0ADMods/kushites That's the most complete kushite mod yet, it has the latest features.1 point

I think. Maybe in 2 or 3 weeks I can present my first success.^^ But I create this topic to discuss new stats for different Units.1 point

@stanislas69 Thank youuuu! Sorry for our nitpicking Mmmmm, yeeesh Very good. Tier 2 could also get that hypothetical simple necklace. I'll try to come up with something, I came up with something: Necklace only: Good? Wowie... I love it! Luuuve it! I'm running out of compliments guys... It's for the hero Nastasen and champion cavalry. Maybe champion cavalry could get a silver/steel looking variant instead?1 point

Shall we settle at 20% of the length then, just like the relief?1 point

We need a simple single string bead necklace in addition of the royal beaded necklace we have now. Something like this? kush_infantry archer & Kush_infantry_spearman (Nubian Units): tier 1: Bare chest, nothing special. tier 2: bare chest, Nubian sash, bronze ankle-bands, ostrich feather in hair (maybe only for archers) tier 3: try using the tunic wowgetoffyourcellphone created for the Blemmye camel rider, Nubian sash, simple necklace, bronze ankle-bands, 2 or three ostrich feathers (maybe only for archers) Kush_infantry_swordsman: tier 1: linen corselet tier 2: linen corselet or that other cloth armour variant, (medium) necklace tier 3: quilted cotton vest, (medium) necklace, bronze ankle-bands cotton skullcap Kush_infantry_pikeman: check: https://wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?/topic/22765-kushites-units-unit-textures-and-unit-props/&do=findComment&comment=347005 tier 1: bare chest tier 2: linen corselet and other cloth armour tier 3: quilted cotton armour, almost ankle length loincloth, bronze armbands, cotton skullcap Feel free to play around with it, to achieve the most authentic feeling combination of things. Lower tier never has armour (except swordsmen because they're cool). Try avoiding the royal necklaces. Good for champions, not so good for regulars.1 point

@Sundiata By the loincloth problem, are you referring to the improper mesh that was used above?1 point

Well then, I will go with what I did, have a slight difference in skin tone but not name the texture with a prefix to not generalize it as something.1 point
-
Also with the Han you potentially entice a bigger market for the game.1 point
-
@Sundiata So no one will be slightly lighter in skin tone? I'm worried because value or the the transition from light to dark plays a role in harmonizing a composition in art As you can see, even the player color varies in tone, some are darker and the rest are lighter, maybe this just complicates the files but it has subtle effect in general visualization. This thing can be compromised and not brought forward though, just the creativity inside me being a little worried. First guy's texture has the darkest skin tone while the rest uses the medium one. 1st guy and 2nd guy uses the meroitic head by wowgetoffyourcellphone. In your opinion, do they break away from the macro-ethnic composition of the army? Should all Meroitic troops be dark? By the way, I fixed the bronze strap, oversaturation seems minor, you can check it in the game, if it is very noticeable for you guys, then I'll fix it.1 point

Forgive me for posting some criticisms The hand should hold the weapon at the end. Holding it half-way significantly reduces the weapon's swing, range, and impact. Also, shouldn't the ancient epsilon axe head be attached to the stick at the three points? E.g.: https://ixquick-proxy.com/do/spg/show_picture.pl?l=english&rais=1&oiu=http%3A%2F%2Fbaidun.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2013%2F06%2FWP_EG_1001bw-900x598.jpg&sp=94a22a6c5f322922527f5dad2abaf8e6 The blade seems too long. Let's assume an average male was 1.6m; ancient swords seldom had a blade longer than about 60 cm (please correct me if the khopesh was indeed much longer); therefore the blade ought to be less than a third of the unit's length. Currently it looks more like two-thirds, appropiate for Early Modern (European Renaissance) swords, but not really for Antiquity.1 point

About to upload this to the mod, any final comments? @Sundiata MEROITIC SWORDSMEN (Pike infantry will also use this textures following Sundiata's suggestion)1 point

"Housing limit" logically refers to the limit on the amount of housing you can build, which is the population cap (not what was intended). "Housing" by itself refers to the current amount of housing you have, and is more concise. "Housing capacity" (the capacity of your current housing) is an OK alternative, but it's not as concise and the word "capacity" is not needed. The amount of housing you have built is implicitly measured by its capacity, so you can just say "housing."1 point

I do find "housing limit" / "population limit" (or "housing capacity" / "population capacity") a good candidate pair. The shared roots with "house" are a bit of a shame, but the first sense described on the Wiktionary is definitely the closest I've seen to our A concept.1 point

Bruh, very noice. We really need a lion version of this asap. @stanislas69? @LordGood? I posted a great reference somewhere... My only critique of the texture is that the leopard skirt texture looks a bit stretched, but that's the UV's fault.1 point

Do you think units die to quickly and would like to double their health? Halve their speed? Reduce structure capture points? Increase unit training time? Change the batch time multiplier? Make technologies slower to be researched? Tweak loot? Alter gather speed? All that can be done easily. This mod just contains a single file that multiplies such values globally by 1 (i.e. no net effect). You can use it to set them to values you prefer. It is also possible to replace "multiply" with "add" or insert other lines of code. All you have to do is download the zip (attached, 2 kB), extract it, put the folder in the `0ad/mods` directory, launch the game, select, enable, and save the mod, and click start mods. This tiny mod should be compatible with any mod or game version. global_multipliers.zip1 point
