  2. The Greek name used in-game is (again) a bit misleading and inaccurate. Seleucid military colonies were actually called “Katoikiai” and the settlers “Katoikoi”. Here are two good articles I found on the matter: http://www.ime.gr/CHRONOS/06/en/society/index104.html https://www.academia.edu/13665364/katoikoi - requires registering an account I think. So here is the pdf: katoikoi.pdf
  3. The Temple of Apollo at Daphne, I believe. Maybe that can narrow it down? It's a suburb of Antioch.
  4. No, it ist not - if it is in a lickable state your tongue might be breaking apart - it is is quite cold.
  5. Pr for the colony and the wonder: https://github.com/TheShadowOfHassen/0-ad-history-encyclopedia-mod/pull/140 I'm not happy with the wonder article, I could find almost no information on it. However, that current article will work until I have the means of doing more research. (As in resources not time I need more history books.)
  6. I might rip off most of that paragraph for the article, because that seems like an excellent thing to write about.
  7. Similar to what the Ptolemies tried to do, the Selecids also invited Greek colonists to settle in their lands in the East. The colonists would then be beholden to the Seleucid for military service in exchange for gifts of land.
  8. Hello, sorry for the late reply. The replays were all bugged and not working, but the situation has returned in “Elephantine”, again with Player 4. What player 4 was doing was just the usual territory war against player 2. (All replays are bugged, and getting the replay for this match will also likely be bugged).
  9. Steps when adding a resource and a mod file: Volatile_Market_0_2_0.zip
  10. Yeah I meant that because of Ptol they got one. https://trac.wildfiregames.com/ticket/2214 Might be something in
  11. The military colony is a seleuclid building. I’d be interested to know the historical background/ what it’s meant to represent.
  12. Temple of Apollo IIRC. Regarding the military colony I believe it's analoguous to the ptol civ but I don't remember.
  13. I can't help you with that but I'd imagine for anyone trying to help you the logs and your code would be useful.
  14. I have two more questions concerning Seleucid structures: First, what exactly is the wonder? I can't find it with a web search, and second what's the idea behind the military colony? I can't find anything about either of them.
  15. potassium allone will make your tongue blow up, potassium salt is fine. what's the problem whith licking Helium?
  16. The resource was added according to the official tutorial (adding a new resource to the game) and in the game behaves correctly, but in the summary window there is an error.
  17. @LetswaveaBook I like that you're discussing the merits of this table. You'd have an extra hard time try to lick Og!
  18. Chemistry is complicated. While Na and Cl are both red, the combinition NaCl is fine. btw: group 18 is mostly unlickable.

  21. A valid concern. I hope Forgejo will grow big enough to one day host 0ad. Thank you for your effort!
  22. Hello @plusmid! I know about Forgejo. It's a great project and you're right to promote it. Basically we want to use and support open-source software, but we'd also like to use widely-used, even if it's commercial, software in order to save energy in maintaining our tools. A lot of members of the community have been advocating for using Github, which everyone uses, and which is "too big to fail". Obviously we're reluctant to use Github/Microsoft closed software, but maybe we'll end up there anyway if it proves too difficult to self-host a forge. Gitlab is too heavy for us to self-host, Gitlab.com is another alternative possibility for the future. I think Gitea is a very good middle-ground, both open-source, self-hosted and Github-like. It has official maintained support from the Jenkins developers (we use that for CI/CD). We're very happy to know that there is a non-profit alternative in case the Gitea firm starts doing shady stuff, but for now, the only thing we want from upstream is stability and ease-of-use. Forgejo is simply not big enough yet, to put it bluntly.
  23. Hi @Itms, thank you for your effort to migrate to Git(ea). I had a discussion on Mastodon about the switch and wanted to bring Forgejo to your attention. It's a fork of Gitea maintained by a non-profit rather than a for-profit corporation. Switching over should be pretty easy as both projects are still very close. Maybe it's work a try. Cheers, plusmid
  24. The video you have posted is not enough for us to reproduce the symptoms. Can you please try to post the replay file that demonstrates the problem? If you need help finding it, talk to me on IRC after 18:00 UTC.

  26. The AI that was bugged had control of 47% of the map. Also, there’s an error in the replay. IMG_3998.mov
