Schweini
From: https://code.wildfiregames.com/D3958 A new button will be added to the quit dialog trough which you can skip the summary. Please discuss which of the options below sound the best under the given context. A: B: C: (Please ignore the text escaping) D: Feel free to share any of your ideas. Gurken Khan
Is this even something that needs to be done? I think exiting and hitting 'continue' like it is now is fine. Is there any GUI-research what is faster, 2x choosing between two very short options or 1x choosing between three longer options? A+B and C+D are different things, so any answer should have two parts. I'd like A to say 'Yes, skip summary'. I think D is fine, if there absolutely has something to be changed.

See: https://trac.wildfiregames.com/ticket/4300, with this argument: "A typical use case is when saving a game to follow it later, we may not want to see the infos about the enemies." Quote I'd like A to say 'Yes, skip summary'. Good Suggestion: (Again, please ignore the text escaping) Edited May 17, 2021 by Schweini

seeh
whats the alternative to 'B' skip Sum&Quit ? it skips Sum and not Quit? you wrote its ' the quit dialog' ? that means user already read and pressed Quit? if yes then use D i think

I probably should have clarified a bit more: The quit dialog I mean, shows up when you want to exit an ingame session. 7 minutes ago, seeh said: whats the alternative to 'B' skip Sum&Quit ? it skips Sum and not Quit? What do you mean with that? Edited May 17, 2021 by Schweini

Alt+F4) ==>2. quit dialog so whats the meaning of exit? exit is != resign. so exit is what? i not native English speaker. i suspect option b is redundant. guess is not necessary to say extra again (but sometimes asking two times is better ;). A is: 1. Exit=>2. quit dialog=>3. No(not exit)/Sumary(exit or not?)/Yes(exit)B is: 1. Exit=>2. quit dialog=>3. No(not exit)/Yes+Sumary/Yes(exit) yes i like A most now. i vote for B or Maybe rename it to 'Exit-Dialog' Edited May 17, 2021 by seeh

alre
shouldn't C be "quit and view summary" instead?

If you are in a game session and let's say win/lose this dialog would come up asking you if you want to stay, leave with- or without looking at the summary. The dialog would also pop up, if you open the menu in the right upper corner while in game and select exit.
