Nazgul11
Just wondering what media player everyone liked I like more than one... Windows Media Player and QuickTime! CodeOptimist
Windows Media Player is the best in my book QuickTime is OK, but not the best. You probably couldn't pay me to use RealPlayer!:thumbdown:
Black Op
I'll stick by Windows Media Player unto the ending of this world.

Klaas
Media Player for playing cds and winamp for mp3s. Also Quicktime and Real if you don't have any other choice.
Black Op
Well, if I have the urge to watch the ROKT trailer (or any other FTM), I'll DL Quicktime, watch it, then delete it. Repeat as necessary. P.S.: I find Media Player to be able to play Mp3s, although you can't organize your files in a playlist but then again, I don't listen to music that much. Nazgul11
Yeah Quicktime is usefull for things like movie or game trailers... PS I love the ROTK trailer... I have watched it like 40 times now! LOL!
ElfTheHunter
DivX, though it's limited what it plays... otherwise I like to stick with QuicTime or Windows.PS: About RotK trailer I thought it was good (no doubt about that) but it doesn't live up to the FotR trailers or the single best trailer I have ever seen: 2nd TTT trailer with the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack!!!!!!!! I still am looking for a trailer to top that one, though Underworld's trailer got close. But no worries, there's still a second trailer coming I'm fairly sure (both for TTT and FotR it has provent he second trailer is the better one).PSS: Yes, rating and watching trailers is a big hobby of mine. I have a folder filled with 20-30 trailers for films, and another with 40-50 trailer/videos for games!!! All rated out of 5, well, the game trailers I gotta update a few ratings. Marcus Petrius
BPM studio professional. It's a player used a lot in bars for queing music tracks and letting them fade into eachother. For movies I just use Quicktime (for quicktime movies) and windows media player. I will never purposly open a Realplayer window.
Quacker
WMP 9.0 here, its a whole lot better than all the previous versions.Note, I added Winamp and MusicMatch Jukebox to the poll.
DarkAngelBGE
Windows Media Player works the best for me. I hate RealPlayer, probably because I don't have a registered version...

akya
windows media player although I also use winamp
irishstag
I'm surprised how many votes WMP got. It's terrible if you enjoy music while you're gaming (as it devours your RAM like crazy), and usually takes me about 40 seconds to load a movie or a large playlist.Winamp all the way. Marcus Petrius
A good thing about Windows Media Player are those LSD-like (I assume) effects you can see while the music is playing. I heard these kind of things are also available for Winamp, but I never bothered downloading them because they were a serperate download. ZeZar
I likeWMP because its so simple, but still brilliant!
CodeOptimist
I didn't like WMP much before version 9 came out. They really did some good work on v9 to make it load faster and reduce memory usage.@Marcus: Yeah, I like the visualizations too. My favorites are the "Plenoptic" category. Widukind
I use Mplayer and XMMS. They own.Btw you must have very deep psychological problems to use Windows Media Player and/or Quicktime.....

Brian
I like the creative player that came with my 24 bit sound card. It is very good and is able to utilize all of my hardware accelerated affects and such. It has everything in it too and is able to record what you hear which most players don't let you do. Therefore it is the best. It plays videos too. Therefore it is the winner.
