  1. I agree. Besides Vulcan refers to an underlying technical item and not something in the game itself. And it has the ST association which sounds a bit weird to me.
  2. Actually I noticed different behavior the other day. Four women were building a storehouse when attacked by a couple of lions. They did not run or fought the lions but continued building. When I finally saw what was going on I ordered them to attack and they did. This was due to the passive stance I figured but it still seemed strange. Running would be the logical action because of the stance but why not fighting because they were attacked by Gaia, not a soldier? Citizen soldiers like cavalry fight animals when they are hunting. Don't know if this classifies as a bug but could be adjusted imo.
  3. It is not Delenda Est, it is the Better Scouting Mod. Installed it for testing and forgot about it I guess. Will do. Thanks.
  4. It seems there is no translation for Signal Fires. The English text remains in all languages. I can not find the string in Transifex. Also he string 'Vision Range' in the popup is not translated.
  5. After clicking 'Save and restart' in the mod menu the game does not revert to fullscreen but to the largest possible window. So the Mac menu bar shows and the grey top bar of the window. This happens after having activated or disabled a mod or making no changes.
  6. While trying to load a mod an error occurred after clicking 'Download Mods'. See attachment. In English it says: 'Initialisation error' and 'Game ID could not be retrieved'. Note the untranslated string underneath btw. Clicking Retry ('Opnieuw') loaded the list allright.
  7. Well of course there are more pressing matters to deal with. It just seems a bit inconsistent. One for the 'nice to have' category then I assume.
  8. It seems the key mapping for the hotkeys is not included in the translation. Of course there is no need for the most of these (e.g. letters, F-keys) but a number of keyboard keys have a native description in daily use (e.g. space, left bracket). Can these be added to the translation? Or, in the case of punctuation and so, let the character itself show? Like with the arrows.
  9. It's damaged here too. File unpacks but app does not open.
  10. With Unknown Map I got a map with a stone hill range across the land, all the way from 12 to six o' clock. Effectively making the other civ unreachable. What is the point of this map?
  11. It might be something only Druids can do, regenerating tree health.
  12. maybe off-topic but in the same league: the ability for troops to dig trenches?
  13. Ζ ζ zeta, ζήτα [zd], or possibly [dz] sd as in English wisdom, or possibly dz as in English adze[14][15][note 1] [z] z as in English zoo
  14. How about cairns or the Dutch 'hunebed' ? Mounds were already suggested I believe. Wishing trees maybe?
  15. Or when they are ungarrisoned for a while. Historically, abandoned castles / fortresses / city walls were a major source of building material for the local population.
  16. A second market is best built around a second CC. That gives you more travel distance and thus more profit.
  17. In the late game, when resources are depleted (usually metal and stone), trading can be very useful if not essential.
  18. If I understand correctly, Atlas is created with other software than is used for oad, namely wxwidgets. This software does not use .po files but .mo files for translation of text strings. Although .po files are used in the translation workflow somehow. There is documentation for translating programs made in wxwidgets. https://docs.wxwidgets.org/trunk/overview_i18n.html . My knowledge about programming is limited but I am willing to give it a try. It would help if the person(s) who created Atlas are available for directions and/or guidance. Who can tell me who they are?
  19. Units run when fleeing, and when summoned to formation (within hailing distance). Fair enough. Fleeing as a tactic can be debatable but it is valid nonetheless I guess. Gamewise and historically. As for the passive stance, it looks to me like the unit only starts to flee when health touches the wounded level. For the rest it just stands there taking damage. Running as such is no function, that answers my question. Thanky'all.
  20. If they are too far apart they remain where they are, while getting in formation. I tried this with some groups scattered over the map, you end up with one large squadron and several duos, all in close formation. Ha. It would be nice to make them go (run) some place and maybe fall in formation when they arrive there. But that's a second. Or maybe that running depletes the health to some amount? It would then be a tradeoff if you need troops to go somewhere urgently.
  21. Hi, can someone tell me when a unit walks and when they run? I suppose normally they walk. Is there something I can do to make them run?
