  1. You post the wrong link. http://replay-pallas.wildfiregames.ovh/ That's why I can't access.
  2. The WOW campaign needs a lot of programming and I'm also excited to do it. But it needs serious planning. I don't want a light version of Grand Strategy or something boring due to repetition.
  3. In fact we should have three types of campaign. Look at this beginning and the story is very fast with few triggers. Get a so-called open campaign or challenge style, in this you can maybe play with different perspectives. Another mythology-empire earth style. Quite scripted.less dynamic. And Grand Campaign (Take history in your hands) or make your own history.
  4. These videos are priceless and I like these comparison videos between units, they help me understand how the mechanics work and how the units feel when fighting. I like them, specially in AoE 2 and AoE 4. It is worth noting the sound effects and the sound ambience (all atmosphere of sounds).
  5. Egyptians (Ptol) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadoof https://ageofempires.fandom.com/es/wiki/Shaduf Shadoof. In AoM reduces the farms cost.
  6. Grand campaign needs a lot of development, it is easier to make low budget campaigns like AoE I. Only triggers are needed, even a voice action isn't needed. In the first versions.
  7. We know that the ductility of the Roman army allowed it to obtain astonishing victories even over the best cavalry of the ancient world: the Iranians. Thus, for example, in 135 A.D. the legionaries of Flavius Arrianus used their "pila" (javelins) to resist the onslaught of the horsemen and push them back. In this artistic reconstruction another interpretation is shown, in which the legionaries of first line lean on "scuta" (shields), at the same time supported by their comrades. This tactic could have been carried out when the Romans confronted the Sarmatians on a frozen Danube, during the Marcoman Wars, 166-180 d. C. Illustration by Zé Nuno Fraga.
  8. I love the terrain, I love it. Game designers work more on the immersion of the terrain or background than on all the other art. At least that's what I heard in a video but I don't remember in which one and it was in Spanish, it would explain why AoE 4's terrains are so good.
  9. Perhaps the player can save resources in the grand strategy mode and before each battle assign (pre setting) a percentage of materials (resources) and troops. Those troops and resources would be results of a previous game.
  10. It's the same thing they do in the forums. Use ai or a convenient scripts.
  11. I like a lot of AoEIII textures. The ground textures are fine, I would like to have them in the game. The concept art for 0 Ace is very close to AoE III.
  12. https://www.theoi.com/ About Greek religion.
  13. Left: Campanian horseman, infantryman Samnite, Celtic warrior, then Lucanian. Right :Oscan infantryman, two Etruscan one with metallic armor and then infantryman with Linotirax.
  14. It is very little information and as I read only 2 primary sources. That they describe it differently. What do you think of body armor? Lorica hamata? Breastplate?
