  2. @The Undying Nephalim I just got finished running the mod on Linux (antegros) and it performs quite well. Here are a couple observations/bugs to the current features that may need addressing: When loading a single player save file, the choose hero gui pops up again, allowing me to select as many heroes as I want providing that I save and reload the game a couple times. This only lets me play as one hero at a time, but I get all the heroes special units and technologies. Capturing Enemy Buildings allows you to train enemy units. For instance, I took a Gerudo town center while playing as Hyrule. By doing so I was able to train out Gerudo villagers who could build all Gerudo structures. As a note, I was not able to build Gerudo hero units from their fortress because those still require a unit like Ganondorf. While I personally like the concept of being able to capture buildings to train enemy units (similar to Total Annihilation Kingdoms) there may need to be adjustments to just what units can be built so a team can't muster several titans by capturing enemy buildings. Civilian Military Unit Train times seem a bit long. 1:20 for a group of 5 is quite a while to wait in order to build out basic units to defend from an opening game AI rush. Perhaps lessening the time would make surviving a tad easier. (what if the scale was changed to 45 seconds a batch for civilian infantry and 1 min for cavalry? Calvalry train time at over two minutes for a group discourages their use since a mob of low level spearmen can defeat the horses). Hylian Urban Farms require a lot of space for only 2 units to be able to farm (as many are needed in order to get food income coming since the farm improvement isn't available till age 3). Perhaps making one of the following changes would allow the hylians to gain food a bit more easily: Decrease size of farm building/plot, make 3 farmers instead of 2, or move the farm efficiency research from age 3 to age 2. On a side note, I am quite impressed with the trebuchet animations, those were my favorite siege engines to use in Age of Empires 2 and Hyrule's do not disappoint. Keep up the astonishing work!

  3. 0abc updated Removed experience loot from all structures which can not shoot arrows. Army camp, civic centres, colonies, crannogs, fortresses, outposts, and towers have a default experience value equal to 10% of maximum health. Reduced the number of arrows civic centres can fire (both default and maximum), but also added “town watch” and “city watch” technologies which each add one default arrow. Briton, Gaulish, and Iberian civic centres are 20% faster to construct, cheaper, and weaker than those of other factions. Wonders are now all completely statistically identical to each other: Celtic (Briton and Gaulish) wonder no longer has -20% build time, capture points, and health Greek (Athenian, Macedonian, Spartan) wonder no longer has +10% build time, capture points, and health Persian wonder is no longer affected by “Persian Architecture” technology Seleucid wonder no longer has 4400 (instead of default 5000) health (D936) All wonders heal garrisoned units at 5 HP per second (instead of some at 1 HP and others at 8 HP) Each wonder has the same five auras: heal units within 50 m radius at 2 HP per second (instead of some not at all and others at 3 HP within 30 m) increase maximum population limit by +10.0 (flat) increase territory influence radius by +20% (equivalent to a theatre) increase maximum population limit by +10% (requires “Glorious Expansion”) increase territory influence radius by another +20% (requires “Glorious Expansion”) Celtic druids (healers) have +20% walk speed, +4 crush, hack, and pierce armour levels, but also +50 metal and wood costs, and +100% training time; and they have two auras: enemy soldiers within 10 m radius have -10% attack strength own infantry within 20 m radius have +15% walk speed Many other minor changes

  4. I need a request, something that you haven't seen depicted yet. I'm too used to short cycle commissions, school assignments, and whim pieces. I would assume something regarding Kushites yes? Consider this a freebie.

  5. Ah, I see.. I'm blind sometimes... Hey, if I can save a little extra, I'll definitely commission a piece or two from you!

  6. lol "start" Believe me, I've been trying get purchase on game art, (historical) illustration, general purpose art, graphic design, and animation jobs since i got out of school. No luck yet. Its getting progressively harder for me to justify sinking work into 0 AD anymore. I'm not making returns, even exposure aside from the forums. You're right in that my shortfall revolves around time management. I ought to push a piece as far as I can take it, but I only ever get enough inspiration for a short breath of wind in my sails, and that's oftentimes just not enough. I have most of my social links in my forum signature, I do really appreciate the interest.

  10. About the recording part best is dedicated card as it doesn't consume more power so you can play without any performance drop. Else I think obs and Nvidia shadow play are nice.

  11. Using the Stylus add-on, I have been able to create an alternative CSS forum theme. It's not perfect, not finished, but at least it features darker font colors and darker buttons/tabs. It might please @GunChleoc (well, I hope). https://pastebin.com/pM09fkvn

  12. I think the ugliness of the theme (the current one or the proposed one) is subjective and a bit irrelevant. The lack of contrast on the forums is a real problem because it can prevent people from participating at all. On the other hand I don't think we should care about people who think "oh this website is ugly I don't want to participate because it doesn't look modern". Those people are not motivated enough @daker Thanks for looking into updating the theme though. What we could maybe do is installing that theme without making it the default? That way it is available to the people who'd enjoy it. I can look into that when I upgrade Trac to the latest version, if that sounds good to you.
