I then followed your advice to check zombie processes and this might explain why the second time the game crashes upon open as there is indeed a task that remains running from the last close pyrogenesis.exe pyrogenesis. Once closing this it does indeed open, I want to now run it to see if it crashes after 20 minutes or so like happened the first time or if this is a one off. I wouldnt be too worried if I had to just check task manager before launching each time so long as it doesnt crash. Thanks again

  3. It will still be emulating. Snapdragon is an aarch64 Cpu not an x64 one. It's similar to the Apple MX chips.

  4. Thanks! Does the taskmanager show you zombie processes that could explain the game not starting after crashing? Can you copy the output of the message you get the first time? I might be able to provide a patched exe that should at least allow you to run the game with no warnings. As for the game crashing mid game are you playing with heavy settings ? Lots of IA, unlimited pop cap ?

  5. I talked to @real_tabasco_sauce a bit in a MP host. I misunderstood. I thought he was saying that it would take 10s to kill an enemy ship. Not 10s for it to die to its own flames. 10s (at most, will be less when absorbing dmg) to die to its own flames sounds a little fast when you consider how it will have to spam, get to wherever it is going, and then do dmg to another ship, which can run away at the same time. Maybe make fire ship super fast moving.

  6. damage types based on the shape of the offending weapon will always make poor sense in a RTS (actually in any game probably) and the power of ram counters here is just one example of the distortions it produces.

  8. Hello! Thanks for the lovely eye candies @wackyserious!! Does anyone know where can I find the texture files and meshes, preferably as .DAE files (please, please, anything but .PMD files )? I've tried the trac browser, and unless I've been looking under the wrong directory, the files don't appear to be up-to-date. Afaik these meshes are originally created in various 3D programs and then "backported" to PMD files? Could someone please provide the .DAE meshes and textures for the Iberian units or at least point me in the right direction for them? Thank you!

  9. Hey folks, so I was a bit erratic in my presence here because I'm juggling jobs and gigs. For the time being I'm not able to continue the suebians building set. However I hope that the blend file was clear enough for anyone to pick it up. If you have question, I can always answer. I doubt that it's the first time that something like that happens, but hope to be able to come back.

  10. Military colony is a very hellenistic thing but it would be possible to have a similar building with different name. Maybe do like my above suggestion for Suebians, and have great hall UB where they can choose some regional mercs (Saxons, Franks, Vandals, Steppe raiders, romanized foederati etc.) perhaps train heros as well. One thing to settle is how the Ostrogoth/Visigoth divide is implemented (At the start like Hyrule Conquest ? two different techs for reaching the next phase ?). Looks great, the shingle roof on the old version was a bit vikingish and not very fitting for Suebians.
