  1. agreed (unfortunately can't think of a better idea right now) I just have the feeling that if we only do it for the perisan women that might be a bit misleading historically and we will probably have people complaining about this and saying that we should remove it again. (off topic: Might be an option to think about the two-gendered citizens again)

  3. ptole have horse archers in p1, that's not the point. and none of those counters is more common in p2 than in p1. if they are op in p1, they are op in p2 and 3 as well.

  4. Hello Sevda, I spotted a problem with your latest version of StarGUI: sometimes there is no alert sound when my fields are getting raided. At other times I can't hear the sound of projectiles as you advertised, which has resulted in me suffering heavy casualties without realising. Please can you fix that? Thanks, R.KX

  7. Chariots use bows and arrows. High-strength crossbows cannot be used on horses or chariots, so the Chinese feel they are inferior to bows and arrows.

  8. Elite crossbowmen use high-strength crossbows, called "蹶张Juezhang" in ancient times, so champion crossbowmen should keep it. Xiongnu's advantage lies in their cavalry archers, their infantry archers are not as good as the Han Dynasty, and the Xiongnu soldiers who surrendered to the Han army in reality only have cavalry.

  9. No, they converted to Buddhism, which is somewhat similar to Manichaeism, and were finally driven by the Mongolians who believed in Islam to Gansu, China, which is now the Yugur. The Uyghurs that China now defines are not really Uyghurs, but the settled indigenous people of the older oasis, who cannot leave their homeland like the nomadic Uyghurs, so they can only be conquered and believe in Islam.

  12. If you want to do something like that, I would just give one extra horse (like how kush gets a healer at the start) and keep the starting 4 women. Unless there is good hunt, the proposal will really slow down Persia's boom, which is already slow. For reference, a simple test shows that the proposal will result cause to already being 20 seconds slower at 20 pop (and that one extra cav unit will be a drag on the boom). With the proposal, I suspect no one would ever play Persia in team games because they would be too slow. In other words, 4 starting women and 1 cav can make an extra cav unit and still be about 20 seconds faster by the 20 pop mark. So 4 starting women is always superior. If there isn't extra hunt (i.e., no need to make a second cav unit, then 4 starting women will become much, much faster

  13. I'm already finishing the patch. What do you think of these two ideas: - persia starts with 2 horses but -2 women; - persia stable slowly restores the health of the cavalry (like cc)
