  2. not asking to disable mod, just want to know how to disable that "waiting for builder" setting.
  3. https://maptism.org/maps/germanic-tribes-2nd-century/ https://x.com/Maptysk/status/2027476111148343343 https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/2027476111148343343.html I find it interesting that the Friisi are their own thing and the Cherusci are included in Rhine Germans (rather than having both in the same North-Sea group of the Chauci)

  5. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1186/s43238-025-00191-2 Avar village near Orosháza: Most of their buildings could probably look like this. The ''allied camp'' could have a more Germanic or Slavic style; it it could work as sort of ''military colony'' building that can train allied infantry and slave villagers (most nomadic civs could have something like this to portray settled vassals).
  6. Don't know if that is the latest, but the latest I have at least. shiny_a27_2-01w3.zip
  7. Hi, Does anyone has "a backup" of the latest dev version (un)available of this mods ? It was really nice and very promising, I used it at the time and I probably could try to help on it/ update it but the "stable" version on mod.io definitely not implement what was evocated here.
  8. Does it say what the smaller enclosure was? (the small enclosure outside)

  11. Hmm. If change the shadow quality to high and restart, does the problem happen? Also if switch to Very High after a start with High does the problem happen? Also could you add the following line to your user.cfg? renderer.backend.vulkan.disabledescriptorindexing = "true"
  12. Yes it still happens when all other settings are disabled. Here's the log with the flags you gave. mainlog.html userreport_hwdetect.txt
  13. Could you add the following lines to your user.cfg (might be removed later) and attach mainlog.html and userreport_hwdetect.txt after run with it? renderer.backend.debugcontext = "true" renderer.backend.debugmessages = "true" renderer.backend.debuglabels = "true" renderer.backend.debugscopedlabels = "true" Also is the problem reproducible when all other settings are disabled?

  15. I have this bug upon starting. Tenho este bug na hora de iniciar uma partida
  16. Here a translation of the description from the museum: The sanctuary or temple, which is located in the southeastern corner of the fortification, perhaps within a demarcated parcel. It has burned down, and beneath the destruction layer we found traces of two temple phases. The entire structure measures 15×16 m and is almost rectangular. On the outside, there is a deep trench (dug almost 2 m below the surface) in which sturdy round wooden posts stood at intervals of 30 cm. Inside this outer building, there was a smaller, yet still very sturdily constructed building or "room", 9.5 m long and 5.7 m wide, with an entrance to the south. Between the outer colonnade and the inner building, there are traces of a clay floor. The roof must therefore have extended all the way over the colonnade, covering the entire structure. The inner structure rests on four deeply founded load-bearing posts, and the wall is constructed of vertical oak planks. Finds of plaster suggest that the walls were plastered with a whitish and perhaps painted layer of plaster. Exactly in the middle of the inner building, there is a 2×2 m raised area built of solid clay; on top of this, in the youngest phase, lies an ornamented hearth that partially covers the hearth of the oldest temple, which is visible as a very intensely burnt zone in the clay. Here, it is very clear how the youngest temple was shifted approximately 75 cm to the north compared to the older temple, but otherwise it is nearly identical to the oldest temple. In connection with the rebuilding, the floor in the inner building was leveled. Only the older hearth remained untouched; the new one was simply laid directly over it. Preliminary results suggest that the temple functioned in the decades right around the time of Christ, and the younger temple may also turn out to be contemporary with the rebuilding of the village and the fortification of the central farm.
  17. Ok so I figured out the OpenGL thing is just some weird 1-off issue. I installed the game again with Flatpak (previously was apt ubunto repo) and the black screen was fixed. But still broken shadows on vulkan.
  18. I would like this wall design to be implemented for the faction:
  19. Just go into settings -> mod selection -> then find your mod on the bottom list of mods, and double click it. Then click save and restart. Is that what you were asking about, or something else?
  20. Perhaps the Cherusci could be part of a wider Frisi/north sea German civilization (as suggested by @Genava55) in this post Although this site puts them into the Rhine Germans group. https://maptism.org/maps/rheinweser-germanic/ As for Cimbrian wonder there is a new find from Jutland that might be useful (i've posted it also on the Delenda Est Germanic thread) https://arkeonews.net/2000-year-old-iron-age-temple-discovered-in-denmark-reveals-powerful-northern-european-center/ https://museummidtjylland.dk/hedegaard/ As for name the proto-germanic form of horgr is harugaz. But it seems to be specific to certain stones or burial mounds. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proto-Germanic_folklore#Shared_lexicon_with_Celtic,_Baltic_and_Slavic Other words for temple seem to include. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Reconstruction:Proto-Germanic/blōtahūsą https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Reconstruction:Proto-Germanic/alhs Alternatively a more generic ''great enclosure'' could be used for the wonder name if you go with this find (Grautagardaz) https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Reconstruction:Proto-Germanic/gardaz https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Reconstruction:Proto-Germanic/grautaz
  21. Hi, have not posted in a while, i lost the account password and the password to the email where i could request another. But i've managed to recover it .
  22. https://arkeonews.net/2000-year-old-iron-age-temple-discovered-in-denmark-reveals-powerful-northern-european-center/ https://museummidtjylland.dk/hedegaard/ There is a recent find of a complex from Jutland, might be useful for Cimbrian wonder (somewhat of a Cimbrian equivalent to Gaul and Briton wonders.)

  24. @wowgetoffyourcellphone, since over the last month there has been "no progress" for every single civ that has ever come to your mind (even "nothing" for some of them... how dare you), I have a few other suggestions for you . Quotes are from The Topography of Thebes From the Bronze Age to Modern Times, by Sarantis Symeonoglou. Kadmeia's Seven Gates: civ bonus to start with walls and gates. Before the end of the Bronze Age "Thebes grew from a small community to one of the largest cities of Greece, famous for its extensive fortifications with seven gates". Great Wall of Thebes: tech for faster or cheaper wall building. Thebes doubled down with a second ring of fortifications. "In the hope of preventing future Athenian domination, the smaller towns near Thebes must have contributed manpower and funds for the construction of the Great Wall of Thebes with the understanding that it would be used to protect all of them if the need arose", "The second wall, therefore, had been built by 382 B.C., but the date of its construction is not clear". Oionoskopeion of Teiresias: Temple tech, ideally for morale, if not, it could be a speed bonus. It was an observatory used for "bird divination" (ornithomancy). It was the "only one such station" in Greece "in the Classical period". "Pausanias describes several sanctuaries in topographical proximity to the observatory". Statue of Herakles: cult statue for DE (alternative to the Lion of Chaeronea, although I prefer the latter). Thebes was considered the birthplace of Herakles (I visited the site of his alleged house). There were "colossal statues in Pentelic marble" for Athena and Herakles in a sanctuary, which also had a "statue of Herakles Promachos in marble", and somewhere else there was a "statue of Herakles Rhinokoloustes", which according to Pausanias "stands in the open". Pindar: Hero musician (actually poet, but they'd play and sing), if these are added. He was one of the Nine Lyric Poets, born in 518 BC (I thought could be early, but Leonidas was born c. 540 BC). His house was famously spared when Alexander destroyed Thebes.
  25. Kernel: 7.2 generic Mesa: 26.0.8-1ubuntu0.3 Not out of vram, nvtop shows usage at about 20% (I have 12gb). Happens every time I play the game. Shadows issue is on Vulkan. If I use OpenGL it is completely broken, black screen. This might be an issue with intel arc or it's drivers not 0ad, OpenGL is sometimes hit or miss on arc. OpenGL Arb works perfectly though. I also tried running with OpenGL through zink vulkan to see if it changed anything and it didn't, so I don't think that's arc opengl issue usually zink fixes those. The opengl log I sent is not with zink. Minecraft, SuperTuxKart, Steam games like Crossout all work perfectly so I don't think there's anything significantly wrong with my drivers. mainlog_(vulkan).html mainlog_(arb).html mainlog_(opengl).html
