For this, it would be nice for DE indeed to get Merc Camps and Farmsteads into its (customized) versions of the random maps. This might be a good base game Pull Request opportunity for sure. -
I know how to do that, it’s actually pretty simple. i also know how to make random maps a little more varying and random, if your interested in that, and how to make them look better.

Sadly, it's the modded map_sizes file. I'll remove it for the next mod bundle and maybe create an Issue on gitea. Perhaps someone will work on it (it's pretty low priority as far as the base game is concerned, but is pertinent for mods). -
I don't know what the circumstances behind their ban is, or where they got banned from, but what I do know is that this game's dedicated multiplayer community is quite small, and a big part of it is due to the massive disproportionate amounts of skill between active MP players and new people trying to play the game. And, If I'm to gauge this correctly, and assume that they got banned due to slinging racial slurs and generally being a nuisance, I really don't see why allowing someone to go around ruining the experience for people through actively toxic behavior is benefiting the already quite small community in any way, since across pretty much every metric, a highly toxic community is something that draws people AWAY from a lot of games. I also find it incredibly silly to act like them being banned was some sort of overstep. Not to mention, playing 0 AD Multiplayer means you agree to the ToS and ToU of Wildfire Games, and your description of why they were banned clearly shows that they've violated Rule 3 and 4. So what's the point of having a ToS and ToU if those rules aren't going to get enforced?

What I can do for R29 is focus heavily on creating at least 1 skirmish map mimicking each of the popular random map scripts. I agree with you about the current random maps. I don't like their terrain blending, many use the worst terrains in the game, and things don't look natural. Skirmish maps are far superior (at least the ones I make ). -
Honestly, I'm all for quality maps. Random maps are sometimes too random, other times they just feel the same as the previous game. Having more Skirmish maps would be best, IMHO.

Feature, not a bug. jk It's probably the custom map sizes. I'll revert the map size file and see if that fixes it. Honestly, I might remove random maps outright, since none of them use DE's features. Maybe I can find someone to help me add the DE features (Mercenary Camps, Farmsteads, etc.). -

In the meantime this get addressed, autociv--or ModernGUI-- have the a hotkey for it : "autociv.production.queue.clear". Assigned as Alt+R by default.

Yes! I also finely got it working almost perfect. There is just a couple things to clear and the feature tend to awaken a pre-existing bug. But it's very satisfying to use so definitively a must have in vanilla! Since I'm currently playing with it through moderngui, I think there are a couple things that would be also nice to have included, like what @Stan` linked. Overall maybe not a too small PR, so I'd maybe try to have the current big ones I have opened done and merged first (don't like the idea of having rotting PRs ), I enjoyed when we got things done for formations together, and I'm looking forward to get this rolling again! Thanks @Stan`!! 'switching' sounds a bit like there is a wall between the two and sometimes I also read comments that make it look like it's a sort of vs. Modding allows for people to get used to the 0AD code, experiment and learn. That's was the case for me, and for others like @guerringuerrin. I'm also not planning on stopping modding and in general, want to use it as a way to try a lot of things, and select the best ones/ the one that can be implemented into vanilla. Mods also can be used to patch some bugs in between releases, and of course just to mention them, the total conversions are a subject on their own.

Hey @njj2003 Thanks for the report. Don't worry it's probably easy to fix We've added supports for CJK fonts but your current locale is not being recognized. Do you what it is ? e.g zh_TW, zh_Something ? Basically we're using different fonts depending on the locale, and the fallback is english. Here I have fr_FR -

The best way to learn Triggers (and the way I learned) is simply to download as many mods with trigger maps and or campaigns as possible, and start reverse engineering and copying them.- 1 reply

Once I figure out how to use git, I might consider adding some of Hyrule’s features to the main game, like spawning and stun.

The config you're looking for is pauseonfocusloss You can set it to false, or if you want it to be temporary you can run the game with: -conf=pauseonfocusloss:false
